I greatly admire the work and the trance channeled communications of Edgar Cayce who left his exhausted and overworked body behind in 1945. I firmly believe that Edgar Cayce was an incarnate member of The Great White Brotherhood and that the altruistic work that he came to do was on behalf of The Spiritual Hierarchy for Planet Earth (refer to "Who Are The Spiritual Hierarchy?"). I believe that he was an Initiate of some status in The Hierarchy and that The Source that spoke through Cayce was a very High Source indeed. He was a great lover of The Master Jesus and read the entire Bible once every year of his adult life. During some of his "readings" for people and during questioning sessions conducted by his wife, The Source that spoke through the entranced Cayce gave out a number of the other incarnate lifetimes of The One that came to be called Jesus (Jehoshua Ben Yussef).
The One Who incarnated as Jesus was a Third Degree Initiate in The Spiritual Hierarchy of Planet Earth, and it is not unreasonable to assume that He had to undergo a cycle of lifetimes to raise Himself up by his own bootstraps to achieve advancements along The Path of Initiation, which is the method of evolutionary advancement for all on this planet, established by Sanat Kumara (The Head of The Spiritual Hierarchy) during the mid-Atlantean Times. Just as all of The Ascended Masters and Higher Initiates have experienced the vicissitudes and trials and pains and struggles and setbacks of incarnate life on this planet for eons of time, The Master Jesus was no exception, and we were given several of His lives by The Teacher Source Who spoke through Edgar Cayce.
Several of these lives were confirmed by The Ascended Master Djwhal Khul (The Tibetan) Who dictated some of the most profound spiritual works known to Humankind through his amanuensis, Alice A. Bailey, from 1919 to 1949. These aren't all of his lives on this planet, just the few given by Cayce's Source.

4. Joseph, son of Jacob, sold into slavery by his brothers, becoming Regent for the Pharoah of Egypt

6. Asaph, the chief court musician for King David's Court
7. Jeshua, son of Jozadak, high priest upon return of the Jews from exile in Babylon, leader of the rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem
8. Zend, father of Zoroaster (Zarathustra)
9. Jehoshuah (Jeshua), The Wayshower for the Piscean Age and vehicle for The Christ Consciousness
Jesus did not take the Ascension Initiation during that lifetime but rather took the 4th Initiation (The Great Renunciation or Crucifixion) during the Crucifixion. He incarnated for one more lifetime, during which He then took the 5th Initiation (The Revelation) and Ascended beyond the Wheel of Rebirth. That lifetime was as:
