"The Astral Planes are divided into 7 primary Levels, each of these being, in turn, made up of a number of sub-levels (7). The upper 5 main Layers are filled with warmth and light and attract those souls who have helped or nurtured others during their earth lives. The second lowest is the way-station for those who have serious problems or confusions regarding their interactions with other souls. But the lowermost of the main levels -- the closest to The Earth in terms of vibration -- is the place to which those souls are drawn who have consistently treated others with malice and cruelty, whether verbal, emotional, or physical."
"These negative habits during physical life coarsen The Astral Body, the one inhabited by the soul after the physical body dies, to such a degree that the only place where the individual will be comfortable is the lowest Astral Plane. If such an individual were taken from that dark abode and forced to exist in one of the upper 5 Levels, he would suffer incredible pain from the intensity of the light and the mismatch between his vibrations and those of the new Location. Souls at this base Level, especially those recently arrived, occasionally attempt to invade The Higher Regions where they imagine they might be happier. They quickly learn why such transference cannot take place."
"The nature of The Seven Astral Planes is such that They each constitute a self-contained 3-dimensional space without any natural connection between Them. They can be thought of as separate Universes. However, in order to coax individuals stuck in the lowest of The Levels into looking for something better than darkness and desolation, The Guides have constructed a number of thought-bridges leading to The Second Level. A mountain path, for example, can be such a bridge. A river of blood can be another link, because it flows in a kind of bridging space that joins the 2 Planes. Those willing to face the consequences of their murderous ways are sometimes brave enough to cross the river to The Daylight Fields. One can only imagine the courage and self-control needed to be able to swim through a torrent of human blood for which they are partly responsible."
"However, there are no such thought-bridges connecting the other Planes (The Upper Five Levels, called The Summerland). In order to move between Them, it is necessary to travel on the wings of thought alone. One simply holds, in their mind, the destination that they wish to reach, and The Cosmos will oblige by transporting them instantly to that place. The body (astral) would vanish from The Plane where they started and reappear in The Plane they are visualizing."

But they have not yet learned to open their hearts to others. In many cases, they were greatly loved by those around them, but they themselves had not learned the secret of loving."
"The truth of the matter is that one can love anybody that they want to love, even a person that they might regard as their enemy. All they need to do is practice subjecting the love impulse to the will. In time, they will reach a state where the heart is filled with affection for all of Creation. In that condition, one is incapable of feeling hate, resentment, or fear. It is not difficult if the process of visualization is utilized."
"The Fifth Astral Plane is where the hard work is accomplished on the love nature. Individuals at That Level have mastered the technique of controlling the love impulse, which means that they have learned how to love all of Creation. However, they have not yet learned how to use that ability for direct creation."

It is This Force that is responsible for Cosmic Creation. It is This Power That literally holds the atoms of reality together. It is This Energy That keeps out The Great Void."
