"The decision as to what to do with the mortal remains after The Soul has fled is largely one which the individual should make. There is no particular way that is preferable from a spiritual point of view, since, once The Soul has departed, the fate of the body is of no more concern or impact. The only suggestion We would make is to ensure that, if cremation is chose, a term of 3 full days be left between clinical death (the stopping of the heart) and the act of cremation. It takes up to 3 days for The Astral Body to detach Itself completely from the physical remains. If cremation occurs before this detachment is complete, the departed consciousness will feel the flame as intense cold. The experience is umpleasant and should be avoided if possible."
