CONCENTRATION

"The nature of concentration is a difficult concept to grasp fully. The mind is capable of directing itself in a pin-point fashion to any subject or idea to such an extent that the thing held before the mind literally condenses out of the aetheric form into physical matter. However, very few have achieved the degree of concentrative ability which is necessary for this phenomenon to take place."

"The acquisition of this particular ability is not as difficult as might be imagined. The yogic techniques of mental training constitute one way of achieving this goal, but there are others."

"One of the other procedures involves the use of the inert gases. The beams which certain inert gas mixtures are capable of emitting onto The Aether can, with the help of a minimum amount of concentrative effort, actually cause the otherwise imperfect and wavering thought-form projected onto The Aether by the mind to condense and materialize into a physical form exactly reflecting the condition of the thought-form at the moment of condensation."

"The formulation of the gas mixture required to achieve this effect can be determined by simple experiment, because it takes nothing beyond the normal concentrative faculty of the average mind to obtain the desired result."
