The 12 Rays And The Spiritual Hierarchy

THE 12 RAYS AND THE SPIRITUAL HIERARCHY

These teachings are provided by That Ascended Master of Wisdom Who is known as The Tibetan, Djwhal Khul, and were given to an awakening Humanity in the early to mid 1980's. The Master D.K. was "The Runner" between Kuthumi and El Morya and Helena P. Blavatsky who was one of the founders of The Theosophical Society. He was The Source for most of those writings in "Isis Unveiled" and "The Secret Doctrine" (authored by H.P. Blavatsky). Later, He dictated the works that were published by Alice A. Bailey during the years 1919 to 1949. These teachings are an updating of the earlier information regarding The 7 Rays and The Members of The Spiritual Hierarchy Who have evolved further and moved into more responsible Positions within The Earth's Hierarchical Government and Those of greater Evolutionary Schemes.

Introduction:

"In a certain esoteric sense, all of The Rays that come into The Earth begin from a Higher Aspect of The Second Ray (Love/Wisdom). Every Ray (for Earth) is contained within This Great Second Ray and then descends upon The Earth. Cosmically speaking, the greater application is made from The Second Ray that then becomes the other Rays as we know Them upon The Earth in all 7 Aspects. This is what is meant by saying that The Earth is Second Ray (Love/Wisdom). In a cosmic sense, It receives The Second Ray (Cosmic), and then It is broken down into The Rays for The Earth. For The New Age, The Rays may not change, but the way it is broken down, the emphasis on The Rays, will change."

"The Rays are really energy, God's Energy, The Creator's Energy. And it is His method of creating, His way (for this particular Universe). Basically, This Energy is divided, at least on The Earth, into 7 different kinds. And all of These Energies (Rays) have specific characteristics. They function in you, some of Them. You have different aspects of yourself on some of These Rays, and by studying what kinds of Rays they are, by learning about The Rays and each characteristic of The 7, then we can learn a great deal about everything, because The Energies, The Rays, are very basic to understanding, first of all, The Creator, and then everything that follows from It."

"The Hierarchy, which is The Spiritual Government of the planet, is divided into 7 Departments that follow These Rays. Each Department is head of a specific effort that follows The Rays."

"The Rays are simply a way of indicating different types of energy patterns. Basically, there are 7. You have predominantly certain Rays within, and whether or not you have a lot of a particular Ray, you can use the characteristics of That Ray to serve."

"In all of The Rays in which there is more than one level to That Ray, you have to learn to release the lower level completely. It is done gradually over several life-times usually."

"There are other perceptions of colors associated with The Rays, other than my own, which are not necessarily wrong. They are just different perceptions of color or of energy or of life force." (The Rays are beyond the color spectrum perceivable to the human eye.)

"As you evolve and grow, you have experienced much and caused self to function within each of the various aspects on different Rays. The aspects that are within the physical such as the mind, the personality, the emotional body, and the physical body, may change as you grow and evolve. There's an ideal pattern for each of you. Self must be balanced, but you may all do it a little differently."

"The Energy Patterns (The Rays) have a whole range of levels, depending on where They are used. You could say, They could be played in any Octave (of Reality), depending on where you are playing Them in Creation and what kind of an instrument you have there."

"The Spiritual Hierarchy, in a rather complicated manner brings forth These Energies and makes Them available for The Earth. Originally, everything comes from The Source. It is stepped down in a ladder-like fashion by a specific evolving Consciousness Whose function it is to do just that, focus a specific Energy or combination of Them and then make Them available in a usable fashion for the next level (down) of evolution. It is their specific job. The Rays are different kinds of Energy, and That Energy is the means by which creation takes place."

"Sanat Kumara (The Head of The Spiritual Hierarchy) here on The Earth, through his state of evolution, through what He is, is able to make available to The Earth the specific types of Energy that are needed. Some of Them come directly, truly, into The Shamballa Area. Some are passed through other Members of The Hierarchy in a specific way. But basically, it is true to say that Sanat Kumara is The Focus, and because of what He is, The Second Ray Energy in a cosmic sense is The Great Ray of which The Earth partakes. And all of its subdivisions are what we call The 7 Rays. If you want to get technical about it, these are a division of The Great Cosmic Second Ray." (God's manifestation of Love for all of Its Creation.)

"We utilize The Rays because energy exists as the basic unit of Creation. We are experiencing as Divine Sparks from the time we come from The Source. And we seek to experience in as definitive a manner as possible. But in the process we probably are focused in different ways during each part of our journey."

"You must experience many focuses on The Earth, utilize many different types of Energy. People can take as long as they like to get to the point where the 'gateway of responsibility' is reached."

"The Spiritual Hierarchy works with vast amounts of Energy in different combinations and for different purposes to bring about, at the spiritual level, what is desirable in the evolution of the planet."

"The Earth functions on The Second Ray Which is divided into 7 different kinds of Energy. When Sanat Kumara came to The Earth, He brought The Second Ray with Him. He brought This Focus to The Earth. Before He came, The Earth did not have much of a focus, not as specific."

"He is a Heavenly Being, One Who has evolved and understood Divinity much more clearly than has any one else now connected with The Earth. He came here 18 million years ago to focus Divinity so that the evolvement of The Earth could take place as it had never been able to do until that point. He ensouls The Earth. He came here directly from Venus, together with some other Great Beings (The Lords of The Flame), but that was certainly not his origination point. A great Heavenly Being Who has maintained that focus for 18 million years!"

"The White Light of The Creator, The Source That contains everything, focuses on Divinity but not a specific focus within The Divinity. The Second Ray, for instance, has its own focus but contains all The Others. Its focus is on The Second (Love/Wisdom). All 7 Rays (at The Cosmic Level) contain the other Rays (of lower levels), but Each has its specific focus. We have to remember that all of The Rays that reach the planet (Earth) come through The Great Second Ray (of Cosmic or Universal origin)."

"All of The Energy that comes to The Earth, in a sense, comes through The One That ensouls the planet, Sanat Kumara. However, sometimes It is directly gathered up, then, from The Spiritual Hierarchy to Humanity. But Sanat Kumara is The One Who really invokes for this planet, that He ensouls, the necessary Energies to accomplish the evolution of the planet. From his own growth and from his own learning, from his own Consciousness goes forth an invocation that draws to the planet the type of Energy that It needs for its particular period of evolution. The Solar Logos is the next direct link with The Source in a stepped-up sort of staircase. The Solar Logos, through His Consciousness, directs The Rays to Sanat Kumara."

"The Spiritual Hierarchy consists of a group of dedicated Workers Who seek to aid the implementation of The Creator's Plan upon The Earth. Some of this work is with Humanity but some is not. Those Who are working within The Hierarchy, for the most part, have completed their earthly experiences. They have chosen to remain nearby, however, and aid The Earth. I wrote extensively about The Hierarchy in the teachings given through Alice Bailey (1919 to 1949)."

"I am seeking now to give further information to clarify and update what was previously given and to aid understanding of The Creator's methods of work here on The Earth Plane. The Creator has chosen to divide The Energy Patterns here into 7 distinct varieties. Therefore The Hierarchy, in natural progression from this fact, is composed of 7 different Departments. My new thrust on The Earth, as a Representative of The Hierarchy, is in accordance with the whole Hierarchical Plan. This information is really given to help Mankind continue his awareness beyond The Earth."

"I have talked about the various Energy Patterns before, but I now intend to give a different viewpoint. It is rather silly, I think, to reiterate what has already been given. What has been given in the Alice Bailey material is valid. It is not to be questioned as far as my understanding is concerned, but we will now enlarge upon it, look at it from a different angle, and give more information that was not available at that time."

"These Energies of The Rays come to us from The Solar Hierarchy, and It in turn receives its Energies from a Higher Source until you reach The Source, The Creator Himself. This is always true. The Energies are 'stepped down' to us in a ladder-like effect until They reach us upon The Earth."

"The entire range of Rays comes through Sanat Kumara directly. He grows; He evolves through it, getting ready for his important thrust forward to grow and become greater. Because of Sanat Kumara's efforts in Self-growth, He has earned the aid of Those that work with Him, His Teachers. One of these very Great Ones, a member of The Universal Hierarchy, directs these Higher Ray Energies directly from Himself to Sanat Kumara. This is a very High Source. These Energies are very powerful and are given because of Sanat Kumara's efforts. But you could say that The Earth has been given Them with joy by The Creator. That is simply another way of stating it."

"When Sanat Kumara came, He brought a focus that had never been present before on The Earth. In a sense, all of the potentialities were there. He focused the planet's consciousness as had never before been done."

"The 7 types of Energy (Rays) are not equally distributed all over the planet but are in separate streams, and their particular Energies affect some countries more than others."

"The Monad (Higher Self of The Higher Self or 'Oversoul') has a Ray that is defined and that doesn't usually change. But as we approach The New Age, it seems to be happening. Because of the spiraling forward of The Earth, there has been a need to, perhaps, realign. The Earth is a small, little planet in connection with the whole Cosmos, but what It is experiencing is a reflection of what is going on at a much Higher Level (Galactic). You will see some Monads that are switching from (particularly) The Second to The Seventh Ray in emphasis. However, The Monadic Ray almost never changes except for certain situations that come up."

"There are other combinations of Energies (than those available to Earth) that comprise The Rays that are possible. There are as many combinations as there are probabilities in existence. In The Cosmos, in Existence, there are other combinations used, other ways of intensifying an opportunity or presenting it, not only in physical existence but in spiritual existence. There are different combinations that are very varied and used quite often. There are always, in Existence, Patterns of Energy present, and They could be considered limitless as far as our understanding is concerned. Each Pattern is, then, seeking its energy ideal, and those who exist within It are those who are using that type of Energy to support their service efforts or their learning experiences. So each physical existence has specific patterns at specific times, and so has spiritual existence."

"All Creation comes from The Source Itself, originally. The Original Source is an Origination Point, and within It are evolving Consciousnesses That have gone through the loop of experiencing and again entered The Source and become Co-Creators. That is all a part of The Original Source. Everything was created from That Source -- every Universe, everything."

The First Ray:

"Ray One is The Ray of Divine Will. It is This Principle that is the first Principle of Creation, The Will of The Creator. It is Will by which Creation is begun. When you are freed of most of your earthly experiences, you will begin to utilize Divine Will as a Co-Creator. Thus you will utilize This Ray One Energy to create many things which are in harmony with The Cosmic Plan."

"This is a very powerful Aspect of The Creator, The Ray One Energies. It must be used with skill and knowledge and just in small doses in order to not over-extend, over-influence all of Creation. The Ray One, used by those powerful Lords (or Chohans) of The Rays, is used to clear the way for the work to be done on all of the other Rays. It tears down or destroys the old to make way for the new."

"Ray One Energy is will, power, and drive. It is Aries, the first part of life, vitality, initiative, thrust. As It thrusts forward, It causes a breaking down of the old to make way for the new -- a very dynamic, direct Force. There is a lot of Ray One Energy here now (on Earth). We are building It. It is very direct, and some people may have trouble with that. But this direct approach can be very positive."

"In a human being, It is utilized as a determination to complete a project, an intensity, a drive to get things done. When you see someone who has much determination, much drive, you are seeing Ray One in action. This Ray in its full intensity is only now coming to The Earth Plane. It is to be used with caution. There are not, comparatively speaking, many souls on The Earth that are Ray One, only a small percentage of the whole."

"As The Earth comes to this critical period, The Lords of The First Ray begin their work, the tearing down process now in preparation for The New Age. They come closer to The Earth Plane and utilize those who have This Ray One Energy focalized within them to aid Them in this process. Of course, everyone has some of This Energy within them, as everyone has all of The Ray Aspects, but some have more than others, and some are more predominant than others. You will see now The Lords of The First Ray in action. They are beginning their work in earnest. They will aid Mother Earth. They will tear down and assist Her to remove those areas that pain Her now. They will aid Her in Her evolution, my friends."

"When The First Ray moves, It uses the will and focuses on the target. It moves swiftly through all resistance to accomplish its goal. It starts to build because of the resistance. It intensifies because of the resistance. The Creator uses a balanced approach to Creation -- all of The Rays together -- but He begins with The Ray One Energy. The focus begins there."

"Among the people who have used This Ray productively are Winston Churchill and General Patton (to destroy The Fascist Dark Forces). Many who are outstanding in sports have This Aspect well developed or much of It in the zodiac placement. Ray One is usually a focal point with either a person or a time. Earth is getting more Ray One now. We are at a very focal point in the world's history (the cusp of The Aquarian Age). At a crisis period where changes occur, there is a lot of Ray One, either embodied within many people utilizing It or a direct response or both."

"The Hierarchy may be directing It, or much may come directly, at this time, through Shamballa and Sanat Kumara. It doesn't always come through The Hierarchy. The Ray One Energy is directed from Higher Aspects many times. This make It even more powerful. It depends upon the purposes. The reason that Ray One comes through now is that this is a critical time for Sanat Kumara and The Earth. The fact is that They are both reaching a point of crisis, and The Ray One Energies are important in starting the correct angle for ascent."

"Other people in history that might be good examples of This Ray are Christopher Columbus, Brigham Young, Eleanor Roosevelt, the pioneers, Indira Ghandi, and General MacArthur. They were all strong in The First Ray."

"The Ray One isn't sent in until the appropriate time by a Master, and It either clears out or thrusts forward or both. After It has made its thrust, the other appropriate Rays take over, and The Ray One leaves that area. The Creator uses all The Rays in proper balance. We are just 'segmentizing' Creation for the purpose of study."

"A First Ray person might rationalize, 'I've begun this and now I have other things to do'. These people often have other interests and become bored. They don't like details. This is so if they are very 'pure' Ray One. However, sometimes they are very dedicated, and they come in very focused to do a specific mission, knowing that they will probably not be in balance, personality-wise, but agreeing at a Higher Level that it will be all right for doing something special."

"We have a lot of Ray One children running around. Look at them when it is closer to The New Age. They have a specific duty, a specific mission here. There are many of them, a whole group. They will be interested in challenges, especially in a brand new area where nobody has done anything for a while. At the time of The Earth Changes, they will be 19 or 20 with Ray One Energy, and they have a very special mission. Many of them won't survive in the body. They will be dedicated to saving, to thrusting, to doing many things. They will be in the forefront and accept challenges. They've agreed to do this. This is their mission. They ignore all obstacles. They are very focused, more than most children, and need to be kept productively busy. Many times the parents of these special children are Second and Seventh Ray (Love/Wisdom and Transmutation) and have chosen to help in this venture."

"You can use The Ray One Energy to 'will' things into being and to 'will' things out of being -- yes, as overcoming. You could meditate on The Ray One and use the will of The Ray One, or you could use a visual symbol by seeing It as a Red Ray. Use It with fervor and intensity. If you wear red, you can notice a difference. The color is simply symbolic and attunes you to The Ray One Energy. But be very careful. It is very powerful. Use It with purpose. Putting on something red to increase your energy is a way of activating the will. The color red will intensify whatever condition already exists, so it is important to know what it is you are intensifying."

"An energy that is as intense as a First Ray must be used with caution. First Ray Energy has a purpose. Learn to utilize It within that purpose, within its proper frame-work, and you will have no trouble. It is a very valuable tool for all of you to use, but beware if you misuse It, because you get an almost instant effect. Keep everything in balance, but particularly with The First Ray -- just a 'pinch' of First Ray into a great big batch of Creation, please."

"Some of the negative manifestation of First Ray is war. We have to watch that Middle East very carefully all the time and sprinkle some other Energies in there when The First Ray gets too intense. We have to dilute It, if you will. It is very important."

"First Ray mind (mental body) would be a very direct, intense focus. Problems could be 'too focused', but it could certainly thrust forward into new areas. First Ray physical body would 'will' its way through anything, even if it were on its 'last legs', but you probably wouldn't know it. First Ray personality might be a little harsh in its application without meaning to be. This personality focuses on one thing at a time and moves forward without letting any obstacles stand in its way. First Ray emotional body would be very threatening. You don't see it much any more -- very explosive. First Ray Soul is very thrusting."

"The First Ray has been used more in its lower aspects to foster wars and conflicts and very intense experiencing. Although this kind of experiencing is not easy, it forces people to learn a lot about themselves. It can be raised and used very productively as Divine Will, to foster The Creator's Plan for Earth. Unfortunately, Humanity has not used It on that level, but that is its potential."

"The First Ray Energies start in Japan and go across The Pacific into Canada in the Vancouver area. The Ray affects weather patterns there making storms more intense. It then goes across Canada, down through Newfoundland, across The Atlantic, and through Africa entering at Angola, across Madagascar, and up again through Asia Minor, back up through France, down through The Bermuda Triangle, through South America at Equador, then up above The Hawaiian Islands, and back to Japan."

"Cape Verde is the originating area for hurricanes. The First Ray Energies foster them, then those hurricanes go west into The West Indies and north to The Gulf of Mexico. The First Ray proximity to Hawaii also fosters the volcanic acitivity in that area. While The First Ray does not go through The United States, It surrounds it, which causes your experience to be intense and sometimes directed productively and sometimes not."

"Normally, The Rays influence about 50 miles each direction around their path, but this varies with time and intensity of application. If there are many working on that specific Ray, its intensity will increase greatly, and the whole application around The Earth would also. During wars, The First Ray is intensified all over The Earth. Under certain conditions, the Ray's intensiveness reflects from one place in the world to another."

"The Energy Rays were not arbitrarily placed around The Earth by Sanat Kumara. They are an effect or result of evolution and, in turn, also influence evolution. The lower or First 7 Rays usually affect a 50 mile spread, while The Higher Rays extend to a much larger area because of their finer vibration."

The First Ray Department:

"The First Ray is a Major Department of The Hierarchy. It is The Will Aspect of The Creator, an intense application of It, and It seeks to use This Aspect upon The Earth when it is appropriate to utilize The Ray One Energies as They are meant to be utilized, to carry forth this intense and focalized application of Energy where It is needed to go forward with The Cosmic Plan."

"The One that really is The Department Head, as opposed to what you might call The Head of The Ray (The Chohan), is The Manu. He is a very special Being Who has devoted his great life to enable This Aspect to be focused to The Earth now, more and more intensely. The name 'The Manu' is the name of The Department Head itself and does not signify one particular person in That Position. The current Manu is rather new to His Position. Currently, He is known as The Master Jupiter, Who has been promoted to That Position."

"He evolved quite a bit upon The Earth although is originally from The Planet Venus. He is a Being with much experience, with much wisdom, and when this material was originally given through Helena Blavatsky (1880's) and Alice Bailey (1919 to 1949), He was still in his body that had been very useful to Him in the past. However, He has energized a much younger body that seems to be more efficient and effective for the work He is currently involved in. Eventually, He may even come among Men in this body, although that has not yet been fully decided. This is a recent promotion, and The One Who held The Position of The Manu has replaced one of The Kumaras Who has recently left The Earth." (Sanaka Kumara)

"The One who was The Manu has now replaced The First Buddha (Sanaka Kumara) and freed Him to go on to greater experience. He has chosen The Path to Sirius (One of The 7 Paths after The Ascension) and is there now. At a Higher Level now He is Manu of The First Ray, because this is his specialty, if you will, The First Ray Energies. And He now goes to do that on a Higher Level (Sirius, Which is The Higher Self of The Solar Logos). This being's name that has recently left our experience is Sanaka Kumara, and He is replaced by The One Who was The Manu, The First Department Head within The Hierarchy, The Planetary Hierarchy. Again, to recap, The One known as The Master Jupiter has moved up into The Position of Manu on The First Ray."

"The Manu, as The Department Head, is rather distant from the daily activities carried out within The Department of The First Ray, but his responsibility includes the whole function, the whole area. He looks at every conceivable area within his jurisdiction. He senses the problems and He resolves them. At This Level everything is done with reason and logic, and you utilize it with the will, which is his specialty -- The Will of The Creator. He utilizes this to implement, to bring forth these special attributes, these special Energies of The Creator."

"The Manu and his work are not available to Humanity. You are not really to know very much about it for a number of reasons, the main one being that the more people that know about Him, the more that recognize Him and attune to Him, the more distracted He becomes from his very strenuous work, and what you do then is just slow down The Plan. You are an impediment to The Creator's Plan when you do this. It is just the way to enforce progress, a way to assure that the important work of The Creator proceeds as rapidly as is appropriate."

"The Manu now has an Assistant, if you will. Recently, because of the vacancy when The Master Jupiter moved to The Position of The Manu, El Morya (The Chohan of The First Ray) has advanced, if you would call it that. It is a more responsible Position that He holds, but at the same time, He still retains what He had before. He has simply agreed to do 2 different jobs at once. And the reason for this is that there is so much work to be done. He has freed up another Master to work in another specific area by his taking on more responsibilities. I (Djwhal Khul) am delegated by Him to work with most of his students."

"The Ray One is a very active Ray right now. Its activity will keep increasing over the next few years and, because of this, soon a young Initiate will be training to assume some of El Morya's responsibilities. He is currently in the process of Initiation to The Level where it will be appropriate for Him to begin. He is One that has been very well known in the world. He will be a visible Master, One that you must learn about because of his activities. He will be coming into body before too long and will be working extensively with others here upon The Earth, embodying The Will Aspect here in an external process of The Hierarchy. He will be working through one who has not yet been contacted. He, eventually, will be coming here in his own body also, and so his work will be very visible, and you will get to know Him very well. He has been a close associate of mine. We have worked together very often, and I know you will all enjoy getting to know Him soon."

"The work done by Those Who step down First Ray Energy is very intense. They are chosen specifically for their adeptness at working with energy. They must be able to ulilize the most powerful, The First of The Energies, in very specific ways. The First Ray Energy is a catalyst, if you will, on The Earth, and with intensity It is applied at very specific times and places to do its work. When working with This Energy, it takes someone with very special training, very special aptitudes to handle It appropriately and to derive the needed results from its application."

"Many people think of First Ray Energy as being quite destructive (Shiva The Destroyer), and, of course, It does destroy form upon occasion. It is just a necessary breaking down of old conditions and a moving forward with them onto much more productive and practical means of expression. Think of First Ray Energy as a cleaner, a cleanser, a changer, if you will, to more productive energy patterns."

"The Master Jupiter (as The Manu) then oversees in This Department, then El Morya, and then coming soon the new young Initiate Who is being trained for this new job. These are The Ones Who function with First Ray Energy in This Department, One aiding The Others to pass down, to step down The Energies until They can be utilized in a form that is appropriate -- neither too strong, nor too weak, nor too off-centered -- to be utilized upon The Earth. They learn to balance These Energies, to use Them in perfect balance, to apply Them in the most precise way possible, to understand Them completely and their use, to work with Them with intensity, and to accomplish the specific purposes that are required for each specific occasion."

"This First Ray of Will or Power comes at the present 25,000-year cycle from The Constellation of Aries, The Constellation of Leo, and The Constellation of Capricorn. This is true only for the present 25,000-year cycle and would be different in another cycle."

"The First Ray is really the opening door to future expression. The First Ray Force is a clearing, a focusing, a new beginning for everything, if you can look on It that way, as a Force that changes, and the changes are necessary."

"The First Ray Energy, then, when It becomes a Force, is the most powerful means to produce change ever to be conceived upon The Earth. The Manu and El Morya are very cognizant of this as is Sanat Kumara and the other (6) Kumaras including The Buddha (or Kumara) that you are the most familiar with (Siddhartha Gautama), Who was one of The Avatars upon The Earth. All of These Great Ones recognize how potent, how powerful This Aspect of The Creator is, and They are very respectful of It, utilizing It only as directed."

The Second Ray:

"The Second Ray Energies are completely different from The First. The Second is The Ray of Love/Wisdom and, as such, is The Ray of The Savior Aspect of The Creator, The Special Beings That come to The Earth for a sacrificial act to aid Humanity through their love, through their devotion, and through their sacrifice. There have been many on This Ray that thus have aided Mankind, and there is the other part of This Ray which is Wisdom. A being such as Solomon, who is extremely wise, is a good example of someone on The Wisdom Part of The Second Ray. This Ray embodies The Creator's Love. It holds, in its intensity, The Love That flows from The Creator to The Earth, in this case."

"The purpose of This Love is really to open Mankind to the realization of his higher aspects, to anable Him to attune to these, to realize his greater potentiality, his being the co-creator Himself. The Love Aspect is a path back to The Creator's Love."

"Those who have a predominance of Second Ray within them are the teachers of the world. If it is in The Soul (The Higher Self) that The Second Ray exists, you may not recognize that they have this attribute. It may not show until they reach a critical point in their evolution when they attune themselves to The Soul Ray, but when they do so, they will learn and study and seek knowledge for the purpose of then imparting it to others. They do not just seek knowledge for its own sake, as happens many times with those upon The Fifth Ray. They are the teachers of the world, This Second Ray, and need to teach to accomplish what they feel are their purposes."

"Our Earth receives a Major Second Ray from a Higher Source (Cosmic), and after That Second Ray hits The Earth, It divides into The 7 Rays. Thus, the importance of This Second Ray, because every Ray that we then receive is really a part of The Second Ray Energies, and thus The Second Ray that I'm talking about is intensified. It is stronger, because It comes also from this main Second Ray Source."

"If you feel that blue is appropriate as representing Divine Love, or pink, both are valid. If you wish to use The Second Ray raised to its highest potentiality, to its highest point, you may use an intense application of It as white."

"Love is the most positive approach to anything. No matter what else you are doing, no matter what other way you seek to resolve a situation, use unconditional love. And have confidence in The Creator and His Love Aspect (The Second Aspect), even if you don't have confidence in yourself. Know that It is a part of The Creator, and use It productively and positively."

"If you are going to use love in a productive way for The Planet by flooding your personal area with This Second Ray, you will aid It. The unconditional love will begin to filter down. That is exactly what The Creator wants used here upon The Earth, this intense love application of what The Christ (Lord Maitreya) brought and what has been getting more intense ever since. It is an intensification of The Love and hopefully, eventually, The Wisdom Aspect."

"A Second Ray personality, to generalize, is loving, allowing, considerate, friendly, and responsible. They need a quiet place within themselves, but this does not mean they do not reach out to others. Most of you, but not all, have a Second Ray Soul. Most of them are teachers or perhaps architects or something requiring a higher conceptual ability. A Second Ray mind (mental body) could be very receptive. It could consider itself a part of the whole. It is a very interesting mind, one you don't see very often. You might think of The Second Ray emotional body as rather peaceful. This emotional body is thought of as stable and mature. A Second Ray physical body is placid, but this is rather unusual now. In the past there were many Second Ray physical bodies. There are fewer and fewer now, however you are going to see more and more Second Ray physical bodies coming along."

"The Second Ray, The Ray of Love/Wisdom, starts in India. There is an inflow from The Buddhas (The Kumaras) there. The Second Ray Energies are a divided pattern. The northern or higher loop goes through Northern China, a small part of Mongolia, part of Japan, and the very northern part of The United States, then comes down a little north of New York City, then feeds into The Bermuda Triangle, then through Asia Minor and back to India."

"The lower branch of The Second Ray goes all the way down through India to Sri Lanka and through Borneo, New Guinea, then the Solomon Islands, West Samoa, across to Central America, and back up to The West Indies and The Bermuda Triangle. It then goes east through North Africa, Algeria, The Mediterranean, and back to the Asia Minor point, and back to India. Buddhism split into 2 branches, the higher and lower vehicle, and followed these 2 branches of The Second Ray."

"The United States is enclosed by This Second Ray of Love/Wisdom, and It has an effect of counteracting The First Ray's intensity where It is placed (Southern Canada). The interaction of The First and Second is important in North America. In North America you have The First Ray that's always thrusting. It moves across Southern Canada, and now It is surrounded by The Second Ray in a very literal sense. If we combine the whole North American Continent, we are going to see that it contains a different type of consciousness than South America, especially further north in Canada. You would have to have a very basic drive to even survive up there, determination to get things done. North American people can accept something new, including people. The area in totality is open to many new concepts. Not everybody understands them in the same way, and they will allow that -- tolerance. The positive part of The First Ray activates the positive part of The Second Ray and vice versa."

"The Second Ray is The Teaching Ray. It is The Ray of The Buddha and The Christ (also called The Boddhisattva, The Imam Mahdi, and The Messiah). It is also The Ray that I (Djwhal Khul) am associated with. It is the means by which we hope to accomplish much on The Earth, by raising its vibration. The Second Ray is The Ray that will lead Earth beyond its present pattern. It is a general application for Humanity rather than specific, and It circulates around into the more populated areas. Eventually, It will influence all of The Earth."

"The Second Ray was very carefully placed to counteract negative influences. The Second Ray can help counteract some of the more abrasive effects of The First. Each Ray has its higher and lower aspects, even The Second. India has used sometimes the lower aspects of The Second, sometimes the higher, and it shows. There is a very high spiritual influence and community in India. Then there are some negative effects from using The Second Ray in an over-optimistic or indulgent way, not putting forth the effort to change, waiting for the next incarnation to work on self."

"The Second Ray also goes through The Borneo Area, which was the root area of the conscious developement on This Earth. Many of you here came to Earth from previous experiencing on other Planets, but those who developed here had their roots in Borneo."

The Second Ray Department:

"At The Head of The Second Department of The Hierarchy is The World Teacher, The Christ. The Lord Maitreya is The One Who embodies The Christ Consciousness (That Aspect of The Creator called The Universal Christ). He is really The Head of The Hierarchy in a very special sense (as The Master of The Masters). The Lord Maitreya was the first human being (from earth's evolution) to reach enlightenment on This Planet. Already at the time of Atlantis, He was in the process of taking The Third Initiation (The Soul Merge). He simply leaped, if you will, from immersement. He made very rapid progress in his growth, and so He has remained with Humanity since that time to aid Them, to assist all others to obtain their freedom from the earth immersement."

"In his love and in his devotion, these special Energies of The Second Ray are embodied by Him. They are passed to us through His Consciousness. His love has enabled many to make greater progress than had ever before been possible. The Buddha came for one purpose, The Christ (overshadowing Jesus) for another (both on The Second Ray), and so it is that each Avatar anchors a specific aspect upon The Earth and aids It considerably by doing so."

"The One that you know as The Buddha (one of The 3 Exoteric Kumaras) had developed before This Earth was ready to 'nurture' Man, and at that time there was not the facilities available for taking The Third Initiation (The Transfiguration or Soul Merge). So He took It with The Christ when Maitreya became ready. This, of course, is The First Great Initiation from the point of view of The Hierarchy. Thus, The Christ and The Buddha together were able to lift Mankind in a very special way, and Lord Maitreya began his mission to aid the world."

"I would like to make it quite clear that there have been many Avatars upon The Earth. Also, there are many within The Hierarchy that work in This Second Ray Department (The Brotherhood of The Golden Robe). It is the main thrust having to do with teaching in the world, and not only human teaching but other kinds (The Deva Evolution, etc.). Because of the importance of the current times, the work has concentrated here on The Second Ray. There has been a shifting within The Hierarchy to emphasize The Second and Seventh Departments, and, of course, The First is receiving emphasis at this also. These Departments are being directed under the guidance of Sanat Kumara Who is not a 'Member' of The Hierarchy. He is separate."

"Almost equally important as Lord Maitreya in The Second Department, and certainly the operating Figure now, is The Master Kuthumi (The Chohan of The Second Ray). He is very well known and is, before very long, to take over completely as The World Teacher (which has occurred since these teachings were provided in the early 1980's). Already He does much of this work, but officially He is working under The Christ, The Lord Maitreya, at this time. When the earlier teachings were given (H.P. Blavatsky, Alice A. Bailey), it was not anticipated that He would be doing as much world teaching as He is. But because of the speeding up of the evolutionary spiral now, He is needed, and thus evolution reaches down into the ranks of This Second Department and lifts everyone up a rung or 2 beyond what was expected at this time."

"The Master Kuthumi has a large Ashram and many students studying with Him, however because of his new responsibilities, most have been shifted to other Teachers. I have a great number of these students, most in fact."

"As The Master Kuthumi becomes more and more involved with The World Teaching, it will culminate in his Earth Descent as an Avatar of The Christ Consciousness later in the evolutionary cycle (in the early portion of The Aquarian Age). An Initiate, One Who has passed The Third Initiation, has assumed the responsibility of stepping down His Energies (Those of Kuthumi) to the student as needed. When I need to contact Kuthumi, in order not to disturb Him, I go through this Initiate, attuning to and seeing where The Master is, not disturbing Him unnecesarily, knowing how much He needs to do, although He does it with great joy. Right now, what is important is The Earth and her evolutionary process, and thus we do not unnecessarily disturb Those Who are working so strenuously to aid Her."

"Because of this important earth thrust (toward The New Golden Age), Sanat Kumara, The Buddha, The Lord Maitreya, The Master Kuthumi, all 4 are working on The Earth and The Earth Changes. This is very powerful, these manifested Beings of The Creator That are so glorious, so attuned to The Light. Know that your rapid growth would not be possible if it were not for the aligning now of These 4 Great Ones. The aligning of their Energies with The Earth, the aligning of their Power, of their Light, aids those who struggle toward It, who struggle to obtain more now. It is This Second Department That carries this main alignment process."

"The Love attunes the world to the higher aspects that are necessary to carry Her forward in her Higher Spiral. Thus, This Department has great responsibilities now. Some of the pressure will be taken off as The Seventh Ray (of Transmutation) becomes more and more involved. And, of course, The First Ray aids at specific times. This First Department aids to implement, to get going what is needed. Thus, The Master El Morya (Chohan of The First Ray) is constantly in contact with The Lord Maitreya, with The Master Kuthumi, and with all of Those involved in this great thrust now."

"Below the very Highest Level in each Department, in each Section, there will be change. The Masters and Initiates will be shifted wherever They are needed in The Coming Times. We have been told so at Council Meeting in Shamballa."

"This Second Department has come right up on the present world conditions that must be overcome. These are the traumas, the effects (the karmic repercussions) of the causes previously set up by Humanity. Karmic patterns here are important, and we must constantly check with Sanat Kumara to see his wishes as a Representative of The Creator in this regard. The concerns are: which effects to lessen and which to allow to remain."

"I, as The Tibetan, Dhwhal Khul, having been referred to as The Master D.K. much in the past (Blavatsky), have assumed much greater responsibility than previously in The Second Department. Working with Me, I have 2 other young Masters, young in experience compared to some of The Others working now. Our mission, my friends, is to maintain a triangular energy pattern, esoterically speaking, and to bring to The Earth an aid, a growth pattern, a spiritual opportunity for those that ask. The aspect being emphasized at this time is Joy, and our mission really is to anchor Joy upon The Earth as never before possible."

"The triangular energy pattern here is attuned to Joy and thus aids those who contact Us to attune to it in a very special way. All 3 of Us will be emphasizing Joy. Our vibratory patterns, each one, have been especially prepared to contain an emphasis on Joy, and this triangular energy pattern focuses on Joy. This is from Sanat Kumara's study upon The Earth, his utilization of what The Earth really needs, his utilization of his special understanding of the earth's requirements now. He utilizes special qualities that need emphasis at special times. Now We are beginning the thrust on Joy, Joy! It is being emphasized here in The Second Department of The Hierarchy and its teaching thrust now upon The Earth Plane."

The Third Ray:

"The Third Ray Energies are very important Ones. They are The Ray of Concrete Intelligence and thus do some very practical work for The Creator. The Third Ray is considered Concrete Intelligence. The people that respond in a major way to This Ray are of practical impact. They will accomplish what others only think about. It has a practicality about It that is a help to solving the world's practical problems. The help one obtains from This Third Ray Energy is always practical, never a bit abstract."

"Coming from This Third Ray Energy and Third Department are the remaining 4 of The 7 Rays. They are passed through The Third Ray on their way to manifestation, and thus from The Third Ray extend The Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, and Seventh Rays."

"The Third Ray is The One that gets it done. They are the organizers, whether we are talking about earth living or our Spiritual Government. I think the main characteristic of The Third Ray is perseverance, the ability to hold on to something."

"I perceive The Third Ray as yellow. Thomas Edison had many Third Ray characteristics. Eleanor Roosevelt had quite a bit of Third Ray. Also, Earnest Holmes, the founder of Science of Mind, who gathered material and focused it into a teaching."

"The ability to really focus in is a characteristic of The Third Ray. They are the type who will stay on one track until they finish it, forever, if necessary. They are very often perfectionists about what they are focused on. They may ignore everything except their project, and it must be done with great precision. They usually stand on what they believe in, and they stand right there all by themselves. They don't need anyone else, but they may need to re-organize and re-focus. The negative use of The Third Ray might be to try to make everyone partake of your own perception."

"Spain is completely surrounded by The Third Ray. The influence of This Ray can be seen in The Inquisition, the influence of The Catholic Church, and the ability of the country to maintain its own national identity through many years of foreign influence and rule. It was maintained by their perseverance. Sometimes they appear 'stuck in a pattern', the holding on to the past. The Third Ray shows in Spanish dancing. It is very precise and unique, very focused."

"Germany is very Third Ray, also Austria -- very traditional. Look at the countries of Germany and Austria and the characteristics of The Third Ray: very focused, strong perseverance, organization, get things done, but not always able to see beyond the focus."

"Third Ray is a good, concise, concrete type of intelligence but not plumbing to the depths of a situation sometimes. It doesn't dig down underneath the layers of what is presented to it and see what other ramifications might be there. The Energy is very persevering, very focused, concrete, logical, clear-minded, organized, and not always aware of consequences."

"You could say that The Third Ray is like entering a tunnel, a very focused journey through a tunnel. The journey leads, then, directly to The New Age. It begins with This Third Ray of persevering, of focusing, of knowing, of holding your perfection within, of holding the thought that everything will not be chaos. It will be perfection, true Divinity. So, we get from The Third Ray by a tunnel to a direct connection to The Twelfth Ray eventually, which is The Ray of The Greater Teachers Who are coming when we are here in The New Age."

"The Third Ray, The Ray of Concrete Intelligence, has a strong propensity to hold onto whatever is there. This can be used productively to hold onto balance when there is chaos all around. But It can also be used negatively to hold onto an incorrect or inappropriate idea and try to force it on others. This is a wonderful Ray for your mind to be operating on, because It enables you to understand specific situations and have a good, clear, logical mind, but when It is carried too far, It is unproductive."

"This Ray is focused in the area of Germany-Austria. Germany had a need to hold onto conditions and ideas such as The Master Race. It wanted to hold onto power. It did it at the time of World War II, and the energies are still there. It wants to lay out everything specifically and adhere to it, and I mean adhere to it! This Ray can also be used productively as Germany has done in developing an excellent reputation for technology and ability to do excellent work in that area. It is also a Ray that can be used for healing."

"The Third Ray starts from the German-Austria area, and goes east through The Soviet Union (Russia), north to Siberia, south across Mongolia, then across China through Beijing, and down through Hong Kong and Taiwan, and back east through The United States entering around The Mt. Shasta Area. Then It goes north through Minneapolis, The Great Lakes Area, and down through New York City, and to The Bermuda Triangle. Then back across The Atlantic, It loops around Spain, through Morocco, and back through Italy to Germany."

"Where The Third Ray goes through the USSR, in those areas the Russian people have been able to hold onto some of their customs, in spite of the government."

"The Third Ray circles Spain and crosses Itself near Spain. This causes Spain to focus concretely on its ideas. When they decided that their religious concepts were the only ones and were circled by the stubborness of This Ray, that is how The Inquisition came about. Spain earned an opportunity with this circling Ray to do many productive things, but they have not done them. There are some rather hidden factions there that are using It advantageously. The Basque People, for instance, who came originally from Atlantis, pick up on the higher aspects of The Ray."

The Third Ray Department:

"The Hierarchy is really divided into 3 Major Departments. As discussed earlier, The First Department Head is The Manu. the Head of The Second Department is The Christ, The World Teacher, and The Head of The Third is The Mahachohan, known as The Lord of Civilization."

"This is a very important Department, a very critical One, that carries heavy responsibilities. The Mahachohan, in his joyous serving of The Creator, gives the world its thrust forward in the path of evolution. The Mahachohan works with energy in a very concrete way as opposed to The Ones we have already discussed. His work involves making it happen. He brings into being The Will of The Creator, His Plan for The Earth, in a very concrete way. The Mahachohan experiences The Energies in a very unique way as opposed to The Manu and The World Teacher Who simply utilize The Energies for their work."

"As we approach The New Age, the work and the responsibilities of This Department have increased to the extent that Sanat Kumara and His Co-Workers (The Kumaras) decided that a realignment of The Department was necessary to make It as productive and purposeful as possible now. Thus, The Mahachohan has been raised closer to Sanat Kumara and his work, and everyone else in That Department has been correspondingly raised to fill the vacancies above. Thus, The One Who formerly carried out the direction passed to The Third Department by The Mahachohan has also pulled away from his former Position (as Chohan of The Third Ray). This is Paul, The Venetian, Who is no longer functioning where He was."

"Into this vacancy (Chohan of The Third Ray), then, The Master Serapis Bey (The Egyptian) has been placed to do what is necessary in The Great Third Department work. This is a very responsible Position, and He still retains some of the work He was doing previously in The Fourth Department, Which is a subdivision of The Third, as are The Fifth, Sixth, and Seventh. All 4 of These Departments derive their Energy from The Third."

"The Master Serapis Bey is very able and carries out the work of The Third Department, as delegated by The Mahachohan, very well. Serapis Bey, because of his work upon The Fourth Ray previously (as its Chohan) is very aware of what is needed to bring about The New Age with as little conflict as possible. The Master Serapis Bey still works extensively with The Deva Evolution in its thrust. The Deva Kingdom's Evolution is different from ours."

"The Mahachohan, then, receives directives from The Christ, also from The Buddhas (The Kumaras), and mainly from Sanat Kumara. There is also a direct input here from an even Higher Level, The Solar Logos, and his different Representatives of Consciousness. Thus, The Mahachohan may receive his main instructions from Sanat Kumara, but at the same time He must attune to The Great One Who is The Representative of The Third Aspect upon The Solar Level. This is one thing He must do: always maintain an aspect of His Consciousness in direct connection to both Sanat Kumara and The Solar Hierarchy, to know now what is required, to be advised of each specific need because of changing, evolving growth within the whole Solar System and also upon The Earth."

"The Energy flows through The Mahachohan to The One Who receives It directly in The Third Aspect in this present condition. This is The Master Serapis Bey. It also flows directly from The Mahachohan to The Christ and to The Manu. The Energy from The Mahachohan flows directly to The Third Aspect and breaks down 4-fold from It (Rays 4 through 7)."

"The Mahachohan, then, has a very pivotal point within The Hierarchy and, in particular, to evolving civilization. That is why He is called The Lord of Civilization, and his job intensifies when a civilization reaches a critical point as it is now. It is particularly critical because it is the whole Planet, not just a civilization, that is at a critical point. Thus, many of The Hierarchy have been placed here to aid Him in The Third Department."

"The Seventh Ray (The Violet Ray of Transmutation) is the responsibility of The Third Department. The Mahachohan, then, has great responsibilities but is not really involved personally with The Earth except by experiencing what is necessary to aid It. A personal contact with Him is not possible and not at all desirable."
"The next stepping down of The Third Department Energies to Serapis Bey (Chohan of The Third Ray) is a little closer to what Man can understand. He is really an Administrator in a larger sense. He oversees what is passed from The Mahachohan in regard to The Third Department, and then He distributes This Energy where necessary. He too passes Energy to The First and Second Departments and receives from Them at a little lower level than The Mahachohan. Right now, The Master Serapis Bey is very involved with overseeing The Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, and Seventh Rays and The Ones (The Chohans) Who head Them. There have been quite a number of changes, and there is training going on here with each of The Ones That head The 4 Aspects. These are very intense times, and The Hierarchy feels it also. They handle it well, but They need help."

"There has even been a call from The Hierarchy to use all available talent upon The Earth (those incarnated) to raise to the utmost the work that can be accomplished. And Sanat Kumara has had a 'talk' with His Superior, The Solar Logos and His Representatives, and several areas are sending aid. We are daily receiving reinforcements of our needed Aspects, of the needed Energy Patterns. It is a positive thing that will enable The Earth to increase its awareness very rapidly."

"The Earth has sent out a call. It is rather like a beacon, and it calls for Those that will aid us. Some Higher Beings are approaching ahead of schedule. Through their sacrificial patterns, They come close. They intensify their work beyond what They had planned to do, because The Earth and her need requires it. We will soon be receiving Energies from One we have not spoken of before, and His Energies are so magnificent that we have never encountered such Energies before. But the need is great, and He has heard our call and comes close. The Earth is changing, and you can certainly expect The Hierarchical Government to change."

The Fourth Ray:

"The Fourth Ray is Harmony Through Conflict. The person who has This Ray in predominance seeks to come to a point of equilibrium within himself through a sense of conflict within himself. He seeks to balance, to create harmony, through this conflict. The people who have This Ray in predominance are many times to lead difficult lives. They may be tossed from one side to another in a situation. They may find many conflicts coming up within their lives which they must then resolve. After this resolution in these main areas, however, their life can flow very smoothly. The harmony has been obtained."

"You will see This Ray working out in the larger scope too. Look for those conflicts which work out to harmony and know that this is Fourth Ray Energy at work. When This Energy is harmonized, It brings about the creative flow in the arts, in music, and all the creative endeavors. All the great artists, in one way or another, experience agonies within themselves until they bring This Fourth Ray Energy into balance. And when they do so, they become great. They become the great painters, the great musicians, the great dancers, all of the great artists of the world."

"In a larger respect, This Energy must be brought into balance on Mother Earth, and when It is not, some of her aspects in regard to beauty are out of focus, and thus you see trees that are not beautiful. You see things that are distorted. Mother Earth too seeks to balance This Ray within Herself."

"The Fourth Ray is very connected with physical existence. Those who come here as an evolving consciousness to a physical world and say there is great resistance within the physical, they are really referring to This Ray. This Fourth Ray is The One That contains all that wonderful resistance you all enjoy in your emotional escapades or interesting adventures or involvement. When you are held in the middle of an emotional problem, what you are experiencing is The Fourth Ray at its least productive level usually."

"This Ray is very associated with the emotional, with The Solar Plexus Chakra (The Manipura). It is the means to overcome things within self that need overcoming -- the way to do it. The heaviest part of This Ray gives you the way to get beyond a very specific point, because the heaviness within It allows the resistance pattern to launch you if you let it."

"This Ray is very reflective. It lets you look at what you haven't finished yet, at what's left. It lets you hold up to yourself exactly what you need to look at. It may be chaotic energy that you'd rather wasn't there in the physical environment, but whatever it is, it really acts as a mirror and lets you see it there, which is part of the earth experience."

"The color associated with It is usually green, green on 2 different levels. The most productive green is a beautiful clear green that says you have handled the emotional body, that you have done your homework, and now the green reflects it. This Fourth Ray is so closely related to physical existence because most of you have chosen to experience It by harmony through conflict."

"The musical field is one of its interesting areas. When you get into the higher parts of This Ray, It is very, very lovely. To Me, one of the beauties of physical existence is This Ray in its most positive attributes."

"Many artists go so intensely into their art that they may not balance out with the mental -- Pablo Picasso and Vincent Van Gogh. It is very difficult to hold the focus at the highest level (harmony) and very easy to get into a 'stuck in a pattern' condition or not to release the lower level completely (conflict)."

"When Fourth Ray people get into the middle of a conflict, it becomes very compulsive, self-feeding, and they keep going into it and around and around. It is very characteristic of Fourth Ray individuals to go to the heights and then to the depths, a rollercoaster effect. They are held within This Ray, and they may be very happy and ecstatic one day, and then the next day everything is terrible, and they feel it is an absolute disaster and that they are never going to get out of it. The subconscious holds them there, in a sense, and they are 'comfortable' with their trauma. They create the problems over and over. This is a Fourth Ray condition at its very extreme."

"A Fourth Ray being doesn't have to experience this way, because you have balances that allow you to function as a balanced human being. But we are saying that if you just focus there in the emotional body, The Fourth Ray, this is what you get. People who have developed artistic abilities have much emotional focus. The main way to get up out of these emotions into balance is by using the mind. That is the natural balance."

"There is a lot of basic appreciation for earth living in the Fourth Ray people, and they will relate to The Earth in a way that most of the other Rays do not. It is sometimes difficult for them to meditate and get up into the spiritual areas, because The Earth connection gets in the way. Many times they are into a lot of physical activity, doing things on The Earth such as driving vehicles, horseback riding, hiking, climbing mountains, relating to animals. They like participating in earth living."

"For The Fourth Ray, working with The Solar Plexus Chakra (The Manipura), Which is connected with the emotional body, is important. It is important to stimulate It in the highest and most productive part and balance It completely. Eventually, you will evolve beyond the use of the lower chakras, from The Solar Plexus down, and you will drop them. These chakras are part of earth living at this point. Beginning in The New Age, the chakras will be different. They will be at a new level, a higher level than they were before."

"Fourth Ray people can be manipulative. They would like to have everyone experience from the same focus as they do. It isn't logical. It is emotional. They aren't doing it because they want to. It is because they are in a pattern."

"Usually, unless a Fourth Ray person is into the more harmonious part of The Ray, he becomes rather a 'generalist' in life. Sometimes it is called a 'Jack-of-all-trades'. That is one of the characteristics of The Fourth Ray. They have to experience in The Earth. They experience here, and they go and experience there. They experience all over."

"The Fourth Ray starts in Asia Minor, circles through Russia, Poland, Germany, The British Isles, and Greenland, then goes on through Canada, North America and Alaska, Siberia, Tokyo, Japan, China, Borneo, Australia, and the 'swirl' between Australia and New Zealand. Then it continues through New Zealand to South America and the lower part of Africa and back up through India to its origination point in Asia Minor. The Fourth Ray encompasses The Earth in a rectangle, and that's why civilization exists in this rather horizontal network."

The Fourth Ray Department:

"The Fourth Ray Department is really a division of The Third Department, in a sense, a separate sub-Department under the overall direction of The Mahachohan. It is developing a whole new approach to the artistic aspects of Creation here upon The Earth that will be focalized here in The New Age. A whole new approach and much research is being done now and is in the very final stages of being developed in the advent of The New Age that is creeping over the horizon. In the field of music, you will not only listen to a beautiful piece of music, you will actually experience what the composer is seeking to portray here. In The New Age, each piece of music will be presented so that each person can attune to it. You will be able to almost become a part of such a piece of music, greatly attuned to its complete presentation. Before, you were separate from the music, but now the barrier will be removed by the work being done, and you will experience it completely."

"In the field of art, you will understand what the artist is trying to portray and the manner in which he is portraying it, no matter what the approach. Whatever he seeks to portray, it will be understood. It will lead to greater understanding of the arts and the artists. This breakthrough in art and music is one of the changes that Sanat Kumara has earned for The Earth in his evolutional spiral."

"The Master Serapis Bey (as Chohan of The Fourth Ray) has been deeply involved in this work, but He has now been promoted (to Chohan of The Third Ray), or at least has changed the focus of his work. Thus, a Master that is not very well known (to Humanity) comes upon This Ray, and let us, for want of another title, call Him The Master Paul. The Master Paul is upon The Fourth Ray now and is The One that deals with its administration mainly. He has been upon This Fourth Ray work quite a long time."

"The Master Paul has been in The Hierarchy work for several hundred years, is one of the relatively newer Masters taking Ascension (The Fifth Initiation), and is devoted to The Deva Kingdom in great detail, great degree. These Devas are The Ones with Whom The Hierarchy must work in order to bring about the different approaches to art and music and other things. The Master Paul, interestingly enough, took part in much of The Devas' experiencing. Know that He has much experience in this area and is very valuable. Sanat Kumara and everyone else recognizes this, and his abilities are recognized. He is our resident Expert upon The Deva Area and Kingdom."

"The Fourth Department deals with harmony through conflict. The conflict is the lower level, of course, the harmony being the raised application of this type of Energy. Another effort that is being made by This Department is the raising of The Fourth Aspect now to One of Harmony to enter into The New Age. It is an intense effort, more intense than any of you can even imagine."

"The Great Archangel Gabriel is almost like a Brother to The Master Paul. They are close in relationship, very specially attuned, and this is very valuable here. This connection aids the work of The Department, and it is an appropriate association. Gabriel is a Superior Being, a Glorious One, a direct Representation of The Creator, a Magnificent One, and He does his job superbly. He is responsible for the arts, the dance, the involvement with Mankind in this regard. Gabriel is the connection between what The Creator sends and what The Earth receives, and his helpers are The Angelic Kingdom."

"When it is felt that The Earth has earned a more harmonious state, that It has worked its way through conflict, that It gets the harmony, the more harmonious vibrational pattern focuses through This Department. And another great responsibility of This Fourth Department is to disseminate certain types of information from The Hierarchy through the senses."

"The Lord Maitreya has a very direct interest in This Department. There is a special connection here that is rather mystical and difficult to understand. The Master Paul reports to The Lord Maitreya in a very direct sense, as well as to The Master Serapis. There is an urgency, sometimes, to the requests now given by The Lord Maitreya to The Master Paul because of the earth's current crisis. It is appropriate to implement needed changes in energy flows as soon as possible to avoid major conflicts, and so The Master Paul attunes often, regularly, and listens to instructions as given very carefully."

"On its highest level, This Fourth Ray is very harmonious, very elevated and wonderful. At the level that It is implemented by The Hierarchy, It is such a very harmonious application of Energy. It is only when It reaches The Earth that It slips into its conflict area or division. It is really the choice of those that receive This Energy to use It that way. It is certainly not directed in that manner by The Members of The Fourth Department."

"Sanat Kumara has come through many areas of conflict within Himself and almost reached a very important point that will mean a much more harmonious state for Him at all times, and thus this vibrational pattern of This Department is being raised constantly now. It is an important point of the work to raise It a little all of the time in a very gradual, accelerated rate."

"A great cry has gone out to The Cosmos for more Personnel to aid The Hierarchy, and, in response, a Great One Who understands This Department has responded. His input is greatly appreciated. He gives Us not even a fraction of His Consciousness, and yet this fraction has enabled the work of The Fourth Department to speed forward as never before possible, and We are all so grateful and joyful because of it."

"Master Paul's dedication is especially great, his attunement to his work especially noteworthy. I wish to state my admiration for his work and his devotion. All Masters are devotees of The Cosmic Plan. His is an extra fine attunement to It, my friends."

The Fifth Ray:

"The Fifth Ray is mostly The Ray of Pure Intelligence. Those who are primarily on This Ray seek ever to search mental activities. Some of them are in science, others are in other mental pursuits, but all of them seek logical explanations in regard to living. The mental processes are a joy and a necessity for them. They function in the mental area predominantly at first until they learn to balance this quality with the other qualities within them. They use reason as a basis for functioning in every area within life and living."

"Later, after much developement, Man reaches a point where He uses This Fifth Ray Energy in a much higher way to reason with The Divine, to use The First Ray Energy in connection with This Fifth Ray Energy to create what is wanted and what is desirable to further the purposes of The Creator upon The Earth. It is necessary to bring this Energy under control of all aspects within the being in order to free It, to move up an octave, if you will. Before this time, It is focused upon pure reason. It does not realize that It must free Itself from this pure reason. It must move up to The Plane of The Creator in order to function as a Co-Creator."

"The Fifth Ray is perceived by Me as orange. This particular Ray is very closely associated with the mental body, and The Age which we are in now is focused there. You might even say It is 'stuck' there. In other words, the world perceives that existence for many is in the mental body, and to try to go beyond it is not appropriate. By that I mean that there are many in professions and in the scientific community who think that if one cannot logically understand something, it is not valid. They are not yet able to perceive that there is a way to integrate logic into the whole of existence, to go beyond that particular focus into the intuitive, into the higher level of the emotional and put it all together into one package." (a balanced use of both hemispheres of the brain)

"That's why the very mentally focused people have a resistance to going into the esoteric studies. However, once you convince them to go beyond this point of resistance, they are able to understand them better than most. They are able to see how everything fits together, and they do it very well, but there is a point of resistance, of holding within the mental body."

"The main reason for this is that The Age is focused within the mental, within The Fifth Ray experience, and they must go beyond this focus. They must be truly ready to go beyond the mainstream of the evolution of The Planet, going beyond the mental focus that's here at this time. When they are able to do this, then they can begin to integrate this beautiful Fifth Ray and its qualities into their whole life, their whole lifestream, their evolution."

"The Fifth Ray, then, is very important now on Earth. But there are those who are still rather closed to This Ray within self. These people are focused emotionally. Their mental faculties are there, of course, but they have not yet learned how to use them as a balance for the emotional body. When they get into an emotional trauma, by using the mental, by pulling up out of the emotions, they can then focus in the area that is very important now on The Earth, The Fifth Ray. They are the ones who may benefit the most from The Fifth Ray."

"The mental focus on The Earth is achieved, by those who are currently focused within the emotional body, gradually and usually with great difficulty. The reason for this is that the patterns within the emotional body are held in a resistance pattern that is difficult to break. They always respond to life emotionally. When they attempt to use the mind, they simply resist it, because it doesn't conform to the normal operation with themselves. Use the will, The First Ray, to get up out of the emotional and into the mental area and balance it. You must get up out of it. No one can do it for you."

"The logical, mental processes are useful for scientific endeavors, for reaching down beneath the obvious. This Fifth Ray has the ability to thrust right to the heart of the matter, and those who have much of This Ray within self are able to pierce and understand the heart of the matter much easier than others. If you have a Fifth Ray mind, it will always thrust into a learning experience and dig out the very essence of it, and it will be more clear to you than to others."

"The Third Ray mind is a logical mind and has the ability to identify precisely and to organize thought, but it does not have the depth or the ability to pierce into the very essence of the subject that The Fifth Ray mind has. When those who are so mentally focused can see the evolution of Mankind, can pierce to the center mentally, they are going to come up with some very good realizations. It suddenly occurs to them one day that there must have been a basic Plan here. It all fits together so well. There must be a Creator. There must be an All-Knowingness. There must be something beyond the obvious."

"Before the mental developement, there was the emotional, and before that there was the physical (in the evolution of Humanity). And now this logical process of The Fifth Ray will launch the mainstream of Humanity to the next level which will develope the spirituality here."

"It is very awesome to see the magnitude of existence when you consider it mentally. Nothing has escaped The Creator, and everything has been designed with perfection. It will be very interesting for the scientific community. There will be a lot of growth opportunity. They will learn by experiencing."

"The Fifth Ray is coming in very rapidly, and It is a part of the way to get to The New Age. It is a focus and the forward thrust of The Seventh Ray, Which is the gateway into The New Age. The Fifth Ray is helping to focus The New Age. It puts the focus there, and then The Seventh and The Higher Rays begin the activity."

"The Fifth Ray brings us an understanding because It balances with the emotional. We must be balanced mentally so that we can be tolerant, so that we can understand, so that we can get beyond trauma within self. Until you are mentally balanced, the emotion, the needs of self, hold you there and you can't see it. The mentally balanced person can then get beyond to the greater understanding, to the greater focus."

"One of the qualities in the pattern of The Fifth Ray is unconditional love. Kabbalistically speaking, you would launch the mental focus into The Higher Mental, Which contains the area of unconditional love as a part of that aspect of Self. You are getting into The Soul Level Experience. That's what your goal is. The Higher Mental is focused within The Christ Consciousness and Divine Will, so that is the ideal triad of experience and enables the productive service of The Creator."

"The Fifth Department of The Spiritual Hierarchy is very busy. It has a lot of Members here Who are very able to answer your questions. If one really puts out the desire to stimulate self in this mental, logical area, help will come."

"There is a certain pattern of intensity that is coming more and more to The Earth with The Fifth Ray in conjunction with The Higher Rays (The Eighth through The Twelfth). It is a specifically outlined plan to balance all of the applications of The Higher Rays. As The Higher Rays come down into The Earth more intensely, The Fifth Ray is acting as a balance."

"The mental focus is necessary to begin the process of balancing everything. One can reach, through the intuitive level, to The Higher Levels, but when you are trying to balance everything completely, then it is through the mental one must go, because it balances the emotional. Of course, the intuition is likewise very important and leads to discovering the whole. No one has said that the mental capabilities of The Fifth Ray are the only type of mind. One must use the mind in balancing the emotions, and one may choose the method to use. If you use The Fifth Ray specifically, then the penetration qualities of the mental will be much greater than any other. The mental capabilities will be used, not always on the same Ray, but they will be used."

"The Fifth Ray is considered The Ray of mental analysis, among other things. It is a preciseness rather than holding onto a focus of ideas like The Third Ray. In The New Age, the mind will be fully developed." (full use of the frontal lobes of the brain)

"The Fifth Ray starts in Greenland, where The New Age will be so well developed. In The New Age, the climate of Greenland will be different. It then goes to Canada into The Quebec Area, then through The Great Lakes Area into The United States, and It goes through Denver and on down to The Phoenix Area and out through California between Los Angeles and San Diego, then across The Pacific into Japan, then parallel to The Third Ray through Taiwan and China, then into Mongolia, through Russia, across The Caspian Sea, and into Cairo, Egypt, then bending sharply back It goes through Greece to London and South Ireland, and back to Greenland."

The Fifth Ray Department:

"The Fifth Ray Department is part of the area under scrutiny of The Mahachohan (The Third Ray Department). In a very special way, this important Department is involved with bringing into being The New Age."

"Man, in his evolutionary spiral, is learning to use the mental area ever more forcefully, ever more productively. And because of this, This Fifth Department is very involved with Man and his growth at this time. Heading This Department is The Master Hilarion, but because of his focused attention in certain very important areas, Another now shares the overall responsibility of implementing the needed work here. This is a Master we have not discussed before. He has not been known to Humanity, and I introduce Him to you. He wishes to be called The Master Markco. Know that We all, in The Hierarchy, have had many names, and so We choose the one that is either the most appropriate or, when We are dealing with Humanity, the most familiar and easily recognized one. In this case, Master Markco chooses the most appropriate one for his particular focal energy pattern."

"The Masters here have the type of mental capacities that are very emphasized, that are very persuasive. There are many streams of Energy going out now from This Great Department in its work at the present time. The Master Hilarion is implementing The New Age in a very special way. He gives Sanat Kumara and The 3 Kumaras the higher mental focalized energy patterns that enable The New Age to come into being. The 3 Kumaras hold forever a triangular formation of Energy for Sanat Kumara. And there is a special triangular pattern that runs from the focalized triangular point of The 3 Buddhas (Kumaras) to The Manu (First Ray Department) to The Fifth Department and The Master Hilarion, then back again in a very special way that is not seen even in The Hierarchical Area."

"It is rather an invisible return but certainly is there and is very important to implementing The New Age. This marching forth of civilization now is what The Master Hilarion must focus almost all of his attention upon. Then also He must receive from The Manu the direct input of The First Aspect (Divine Will) of The Creator, and there is a 2-way exchange here. Because He is so involved with this, The Master Markco takes over from Him many of his formerly assigned duties."

"Because The Members of This Department are so very developed in the creativity of the higher mental areas, many of The Hierarchy study this area with Them and develope their greater abilities in this area. And the call sent out by The Hierarchy to The Cosmos has attracted several other Great Ones Who concentrate their efforts now, because it is a great effort to bring forth The New Age. "The Master Markco directs, among other things, all of the scientific pursuits going on at the present time in the world in a very special way. Impetus is given in the areas that Humanity needs for its more rapid growth. It is picked up from the higher mental area in a very special way by those who are able to receive it."

So, call upon Him by name in a state of meditation, and use the color of orange to aid the identification that you are making with This Great Department."

"The creative and higher mental abilities are very important, and We of The Hierarchy are very anxious to see Mankind launched from the scientific or logical point to the higher creative mental point. In fact, a very important part of This Department's work is to launch Humanity beyond the concrete, beyond the scientific into the higher mental area now. So attune to The Master Markco, calling upon Him by name and asking for aid in this regard."

"The Master Markco came up through humanity's ranks, just as you are doing. He had a long series of lives upon The Earth and experienced and learned and struggled and finally freed Himself, just as all of you are doing. His availability to Mankind now is being emphasized to increase man's evolutionary rate, to speed it up in the higher mental and intuitive areas."

"The Fifth Department now is very definitely connected with The First. It is because these 2 types of Energy utilized together are necessary to enable The Earth to progress past a launching of The New Age. What We are seeking to do is to launch It as easily as possible and in as joyous a manner as possible and in as advanced a state as possible. Recognizing this fact, then, you must see that The Manu (First Ray) has increased responsibilities. Because of this, many disciples that are not as advanced as formerly would have been needed are being utilized in as forthright and effective and complete a manner as possible, particularly those that have abilities in The First and Fifth Ray Departments."

"Those upon The Earth who can possibly do anything in these areas are being called forth. It is a service that must be on a volunteer basis. But when a disciple reaches the point of commitment to The Hierarchy, which is really to The Creator and His Cosmic Plan, they are called upon with intensity, much more than ever before, to be as creative as possible in launching forth The New Age."

"In a special sense, The Cosmos now watches our efforts. The Earth is a small, dark Planet of relative unimportance compared to the totality of Creation, but It is watched carefully now to see how we utilize some very special gifts given to us by The Creator, some very special Energies that are being spun down for our use. The Creator is sending forth This Fifth Aspect in a very intense application. It is being stepped down from the very Highest Level to The Hierarchy with intensity and is being utilized to bring about This New Age in as advanced a way as possible. And The Department is doing very well. They are making the effort ever more intensely, and with joy are They doing it. This Department's efforts are very vast although very focalized at the same time."

The Sixth Ray:

"The Sixth Ray Energy is a very well known One in the earth's recent history. It is The Ray of Devotion (or Abstract Idealism) to a specific cause. The Christian Religion comes on The Sixth Ray. This is rather a 'heavy' Energy, speaking from the point of view of the effect within the human being. It clings and makes one aspire along a specific path. It is not conducive to a search. It focalizes a search and makes it specific along one path. Thus, it is rather an addictive Energy, if you will."

"The Sixth Ray is close to the earth's evolving consciousness origination. Some of this memory is focused in The Mind of Humanity (The Collective Unconscious). And The Earth has this belief that It must hold onto this type of Energy, because It has been here forever. It has been affecting The Earth very profusely for quite a while. The fundamentalists can't let go of It. They will probably experience on another Planet with Sixth Ray (after The Dimensional Shift). The Sixth Ray was important at the time of Christ, but It will fade away as The Seventh Ray leads us into The New Age."

"The Sixth Ray has a devotional connotation on any level. It has been used well by The Christian Religion for 2,000 years. But It is now leaving prominance on The Earth. The Sixth Ray Energy has been good upon The Earth and has accomplished its purpose, but it is now time for It to leave as The Seventh Ray now enters our horizon with the incoming Aquarian Age."

"If it helps to see This Ray as indigo, do so. The Sixth Ray is a very special Energy that, esoterically, has gotten a 'bad reputation', and It shouldn't have. It's a specific kind of Energy and truly is not any worse nor any better than any other kind of Energy. It is just different and used for a specific type of creation. Each is a part of The Wholeness of Creation."

"The Sixth Ray has done much for The Earth as a devotional focus. It enabled Mankind, at a lesser evolved level, to go beyond an earth perspective by providing a specific focus of connection with Divinity, not in an encompassing way, but at least a specific focus that aided them."

"It was also utilized very much by The Christ, The Lord Maitreya (Who overlighted Jesus from The Baptism to The Cruxifixion). Devotion to One God and obedience were used in connection with The Second Ray Love Vibration. He focused The Sixth Ray here in a special esoteric sense, and through its use a certain focus grew up, and among the characteristics of that focus were the specifics of The Christian Religion of which healing was a part. The Second and Sixth Ray connection was shown in the teachings."

"It was a wonderful opportunity for The Earth when This Energy began to come in. Before that time, The Earth could be considered as 'stuck in a pattern'. People were experiencing and learning here on The Earth but were not really able to see beyond or go beyond that specific evolutionary point. And so this specific, heavy Energy Pattern began to be available to The Earth. If you are going to pry up The Earth's Evolution, you need a big crowbar. The Sixth Ray is just such a crowbar. It could help lift the vibrational pattern. And The Lord Maitreya, as The Christ (through Jesus), focused It. He was on the handle of that crowbar seeking to specifically focus. Very carefully He had preplanned this focus, the evolutionary effort."

"Through activating the love aspect of self to see existence as it truly is, He was seeking to focus people into love rather than fear. By activating the love aspect, unconditional love, that allows you to see with the mental processes very clearly. It was complex, on several levels, and only partially successful, but We (The Spiritual Hierarchy) were pleased, generally, with the evolution at that time, recognizing that through free will and choices some of it would be 'shelved' for a little later. And a little later is now."

"This Indigo Ray, Which is closely connected kabbalistically with the subconscious mind, has another very unique quality that I love. It has an automatic connotation, once you set It in motion. It functions that way until you change It. Utilizing This Energy can enlarge the automatic process of seeking Divinity. You may visualize This Ray as holding a new pattern or a new experience that you want and then put it on automatic with This Ray. The Sixth Ray is The Energy that we use to hold onto patterns we have created in our lives, and It is also the way to hold onto new patterns that we create."

"This Energy is going to be available for a little while longer, as It is rather fading out. I would encourage you to use It now while It is available. Then, when It comes back to The Earth later after The New Age has begun, It will be available at a new level for another opportunity in evolution that The Earth will need at that particular time. It will, at that time, be a finer vibration, because The Earth will be on a New Level."

"Even though The Sixth Ray is being withdrawn, the potentiality will always be there. After The New Age begins, when The Earth is at a Higher Level (Fourth Density), there will not be a focus here of This Sixth Ray Energy. As well, there will be less of a focus on the subconscious mind. The focus will be on a higher level. The subconscious will blend with The Divine Will as a part of the service to The Creator instead of being connected with the personality level. In The New Age, only those who are focused on spirituality will be here. The whole time will be focused on spirituality. It will be an Age in which spirituality is the focus."

"When church members are worshipping, they are utilizing The Sixth Ray a great deal, whether they are conscious of it or not. They are using the devotion which they truly experience, and that is very Sixth Ray. They are raising their consciousness by means of It, within a narrow focus of Divinity. It may be narrow, but it is a high channel for them and very appropriate for their particular understanding at that particular time."

"The Sixth Ray starts in Vietnam. The Vietnamese people have a great devotion to life itself, but due to the 'square crossing' of The Fourth and Sixth Rays, their devotion has been to conflict, and that is the way that they have chosen to experience life for some time."

"The Sixth Ray, then, goes from Vietnam to India, to Australia through a dividing center, through South New Zealand, Hawaii, and up through Canada and surrounding Hudson Bay. This area around Hudson Bay, which is enclosed by The First and Sixth Rays, originates a lot of weather for The United States. Then It goes on to South America coming in with an angular effect caused by The Bermuda Triangle Energies. It then goes down through Brazil where It has the effect of fostering strong patriotism. It then crosses The Atlantic Ocean, and we see its effect weather-wise in India with the monsoons. The Sixth Ray could be looked upon as The Waters of Life."

"Hawaii has Sixth Ray, and when The Hawaiian People were left to themselves, they had their own wonderful tradition to which they were devoted, and they were very pure. They were attuned to The Creator. When the Christians came with their very rigid interpretation of their religion, they activated The First Ray and, by their thrusting, changed the character of Hawaii."

"The Sixth Ray doesn't go into Europe much. That says that the religious intensities in The Middle Ages were not from The Sixth Ray of Devotion but rather from The First (Divine Will) and Fourth (Harmony Through Conflict) Rays and sometimes The Third (Concrete Pragmatism). The Fourth Ray reflected the lower aspects of The Sixth (Devotional Zeal) into Europe at that time, the more fanatical aspects."

The Sixth Ray Department:

"The Sixth Department also comes from the great area directed by The Mahachohan (The Third Ray Department). The Head of This Department is The Master Jesus, The One Who served as the physical vehicle for The Christ, The Lord Maitreya, in a great sacrificial act enabling The Christ to work through a body that was the most suitable possible for his work upon The Earth." (for the 3 years from The Baptism to The Crucifixion)

"The Master Jesus (Sananda) is a very special Being, One Who gives to The Hierarchy much strength, much will and purpose. Everyone in The Hierarchy has such purpose, but his is very strong and especially appreciated during this critical Transitional Period on The Earth. The Master Jesus is known as a very strict and stern Master, and his pupils have found Him so. However, it is not a negative quality at all. It is just his manner of operating and his understanding of The Creator's Energy flow as It comes to and through Him. Know, my friends, that each Member of The Hierarchy interprets the energy patterns within Them differently. This is certainly valid, and it gives a balance to The Hierarchy that would not be otherwise possible. So, The Sixth Department interprets the need to approach things in a way that is different from any other Department right now."

"This Department has been directing The Christian Religion since its advent through The Christ, and The Master Jesus still retains this work seeking always to emphasize the higher aspects of the religious activity and to integrate, at this time, the Christian thought and principles with those from Eastern schools and philosophies, and He works with the masses at a very high level seeking to do this. He is assisted by many in this regard, knowing that when this synthesis can be completed, The Sixth Department will begin to blend in many areas. This Great Sixth Ray will not be as prevalent on The Earth as this blending continues to take place."

"The Master Jesus is working to gather together all the religions of the world into a single focus, which is quite a strenuous assignment. That means all religions, not just the Christian factions. He is seeking to objectify the religions of the world into a specific focus of Divinity. What will change is the perception by which The Divinity is viewed and the level at which It is viewed. Master Jesus is working with devotional patterns. He is working with specific religious organizations, and He can truly understand each particular one. From that understanding of each one, He can synthesize them and use that energy to raise the level of the experience to the level of wholeness."

"He can bring this synthesis of religions into being on a spiritual level before it starts to work its way down into Creation, because it must be done that way. It must be brought to the wholeness level on the spiritual plane first, so that is exactly what He's doing. He is bringing it into the wholeness concept by his wonderful synthesis ability and is bringing it down into The Astral Plane Level. It's already there. All We have to do is bring it forth."

"Master Jesus served here on The Earth and we know the results, which were for the most part successful, though He did not accomplish everything that He sought to do. But by his great love, He enabled possibilities that were never here before. The Master Jesus has special abilities in The Will Aspect (The First Ray). Many within The Christian Religion use It in not as positive a way as possible, but when it is done in a completely positive way, as Jesus did, It enables special progress now."

"The Sixth Department is in rather a transitional stage, and yet a focused effort is going on. They are, in a sense, finishing up. This Department is 'cleaning out the area' while completing the final stages of its work, while work is also beginning in the new stages. It is a cleaning out process and a resettling of the new at the same time. This makes the focus required in This Department especially important, so The Will Aspect of Master Jesus and His Associates is very useful. The Sixth Department will take over some of the new work as soon as They have finished the old. And the great transition work will not be finished until the beginning of The New Age. But as we approach The New Age, there will be a 'leaping over' period, an intense period when The Department calls upon The Hierarchy, Sanat Kumara, and Those That have come to the aid of The Earth for one final surge of complete focusing. Many on The Earth will be called upon for help at that time."

"So it will take a blending of all of The Departments of The Hierarchy to complete the work in This Department at this time. And, of course, They do it with joy, and also They bring down The Sixth Ray from The Higher Levels in a final great thrust before withdrawing some of This Energy until a later date."

"The Master Jesus is an outstanding example of how to be as aligned with The Creator as possible and still be a Representative of Love. Just because one has great love does not mean abdication of the responsibility to serve The Creator as exactly as possible, and that is what The Master Jesus does, serve with exactitude. I have worked with Him quite closely. I appreciate his gifts, his wisdom, his exactitude."

"His Staff is equally dedicated and, because of the nature of his work, many of Them are serving without recognition on The Earth Plane. Many, but not all by any means, are serving within the government of The Catholic Church."

"In addition to this work of synthesizing the religions of the world, The Sixth Department is involved with The Devas. These direct Manifestations of The Creator do what is necessary to implement The Turning Point here in the evolutionary spiral of The Earth."

"It takes more specialization to serve in The Sixth Department than any Other. When you consider that soon They are to do a different kind of work, you can understand how sacrificial their work is. They will have to change a great deal from this one specialized focus to another. But that is the devotional pattern of This Department."

"There is no right or wrong way to do The Creator's work, and each Master brings to The Earth his own unique interpretation, his own blend of energy patterns. The balance thus produced in The Hierarchy is the key to evolution. Because of the current position of The Earth in its evolutionary spiral, The Sixth Department balances The Hierarchy now. In a sense, it is as if The Sixth Department is sitting at one end of a see-saw and all of The Others are on the other end, and it is balancing. This is because of the current position of The Earth and Sanat Kumara. Later, it will be a different Department balancing The Hierarchy."

The Seventh Ray:

"The Seventh Ray is called by many 'The Violet Transmuting Flame'. It transmutes to a higher level of perception, enabling those who use It in a perhaps progressive way to reach a new level of understanding. It is The Ray of The New Age, and It leads us there by ceremony. In this case, ceremony is defined narrowly as a precise way of doing things. It is not general like The Sixth Ray of Devotion. It looks at precise ways of developing, such as The Transmuting Flame and various systems that are worked out carefully."

"The Seventh Ray Energy brings many changes to The Earth as It comes in. One that is attuned to This Ray may decide to perform a certain service in a certain way and have set up an elaborate ritual or performance to do it. The Seventh Ray Energies lead us toward The New Age, The New Creation, the new way of living, and It leads to The Higher Rays of attunement."

"The Violet Flame can help you to understand self more completely when you use It, and then It can help to unlock that and go beyond that understanding. It has been used for 100's of years, but It is now reaching a point of intensity on The Earth. There is more of It here, more of It available, and that allows the cleansing and the clearing to be even more thorough, because It has the characteristic to cleanse."

"The Violet Flame has a preciseness to identify within self exactly what remains to be done in terms of balancing and cleansing, and the preciseness quality of The Ray is important. It can help you find out how clear you are. If you feel more comfortable when you use The Violet Flame, it is because you have moved to a higher, more harmonious level. There is no right or wrong way to attune to It. Some can visualize It. Others can just know It is there."

"The Violet Flame is a delicate and cherished type of Transmuting Energy. It is coming in more so that we are getting the full potential of It now. It has really been around for a few thousand years, but the intensity of It is increasing and becoming almost full strength now to enable The New Age to begin."

"The Seventh Ray starts in Texas, applying over the rather large area between El Paso and Fort Worth. The Texans are always ready to try something new. This is their heritage. It then goes west near The Phoenix Area and through California in the Los Angeles-San Diego Area. It then goes west to Japan, across the middle of China into India, and from India It parallels The Second Ray into Asia Minor. It then goes north into Helsinki, then to The British Isles in the northern area and to Ireland. It then parallels The Fifth Ray up to the tip of Greenland, then down through Quebec and into The Great Lakes Area, paralleling The Fifth Ray through part of the northern United States until It leaves The Fifth and goes down through Utah and into The Phoenix Area, and then back to El Paso, Texas. The combination of The Fifth and Seventh Ray is very beneficial when They are pure and undisturbed by other Energies."

"Although The Seventh Ray goes through Japan, the people there are not very open to The New Age, and that is because of the flow of The Energies. The Seventh and Fifth Rays go into Japan from the U.S., and The First and Third come out of Japan toward the U.S. These Energies flow in opposite directions causing a stirring up or chaotic effect to occur in The Energy Pattern, and the highest or free-flowing part of The Energies is lost to some extent. The lower aspect of The Seventh Ray, which is disaster, is then activated. The result of These Energies makes The Japanese more Sixth Ray. Situations are sought with Sixth Ray intensity, for example The Kamikaze Fliers during World War II. Religious fervor is more important than open-mindedness or allowing things to change. The Japanese do fight The Fifth and Seventh Rays. They tend to copy rather than to analyze and synthesize and develope new concepts."

"The Seventh Ray goes through Scandinavia, which is open-minded and progressive in humanitarian aspects and very open to New Age energies. Examination of everything in one's life to see if it can be improved is a result of The Seventh Ray."

"In Quebec there are many Rays criss-crossing -- The First, Third, Fifth, Sixth, and Seventh. This leads to a lot of activity and argument and some of the lower aspects of The Rays being manifest. However, as the intensity of The Seventh Ray increases, things should become more harmonious there."

"The Bermuda Triangle is very interesting. It has been noted that 4 of The 7 Rays go through The Bermuda Triangle, The Second Ray going through It twice. There is created a spiral effect there from the whirling energy that tends to draw in whatever is there. This whirlpool of energy is a gateway to another Dimension. The energies become a funnel or slide which exits into another Dimension. Those that get caught in it in their ships or planes become very confused because it is very still and their instruments become wild and unpredictable. Some find their way out before being completely pulled in, but many others have ended up in a parallel Dimension, and often they have made a life for themselves there."

"When this whirlpool came into being, it came as a dispensation to The Earth by Sanat Kumara as a safety valve to aid the areas intensely involved with all these Energies. It acts as a valve draining off excesses of Energies, such as The First Ray, so the areas don't have to experience the full effect of them. It also has the side effect of reflecting a lot of Energies into the surrounding areas, such as The U.S., Mexico, South America, Canada, and sometimes Europe."

"Another whirlpool or spiral effect occurs between Australia and New Zealand, and that is why these 2 countries are so different. The Fourth and Sixth Ray Energies enter into this one. It also acts as a safety valve, drawing off some of The Sixth Ray that is being reflected into Australia by The Fourth Ray, thus practically eliminating the effect that there would have been of fanatically holding onto their ideas."

The Seventh Ray Department:

"The One Who heads this area is The Master Rakoczi, also known as Saint Germain. Some of the material given about Saint Germain is not true, and there is more than one entity involved here. One is a very elevated Master, and one is not. I prefer to use the name, Master Rakoczi or Master R., and will do so in connection with This Great Being. (Refer to the writings of Helena Blavatsky and Alice Bailey.) He has long been associated with This Department and has been building in his responsibilities toward The Coming Period. Because of the vast importance of This Department, It is now being staffed by many more Masters. The activity is joyous because of the coming New Age which all greatly anticipate."

"The Master Rakoczi is The One Who is so closely associated with The Violet Flame and is The Specific One Who is turning the key in the lock which is opening to The New Age. He has many abilities that specifically will bring in This New Age, including the conceptual abilities that utilize this type of Energy along with everything else to 'put it all together'. He works with large amounts of This Energy. Part of the time He is doing this in the aetheric body, the rest of the time within the mental body, and a combination of both. In his work, He is literally seeing problem areas on The Earth and transmuting them, where He is allowed, by means of The Violet Flame. This is a part of his responsibility, done under the direction of The Head of The Hierarchical Government, Sanat Kumara, and The Christ. The specific locations that He deals with are the troubled spots of the world."

"His work is very vast. It deals with the energy fields on The Earth in general. If you feel attracted to This Being, you may call on Him. He has given you permission to do that, and He will work with anyone who will do so. You could call Him The Master R. or Saint Germain, whichever you prefer. He will respond to your call. It is his desire to contact all who ask, and He is able to do this now. He has specifically told Me to tell people this, because He wants the contact. The more people We have using The Violet Flame, the better. When We get focuses of Violet Flame all over The Planet, it's going to bring That Energy down and focalize It, allow It to be used more and more between The Spiritual Hierarchy and The Planet."

"Previous to the last 10 years (before the mid '70's), The Master Rakoczi occupied Himself with administrative work within The Hierarchy, because the time to work in his specialty had not yet begun. Since then, this has changed drastically. He works now for The New Age, knowing that when this comes his responsibilities will increase 10-fold."

"A lot is going on in The Seventh Department. The Earth has received 5 Higher Rays (Eighth through Twelfth) since the early 1970's, approximately. The Seventh Department of The Hierarchy is concerned with bringing through These Energy Patterns along with The Seventh Ray Itself. These Energies come to The Earth via Sanat Kumara to Shamballa from where They are channeled to The Seventh Department. There, some of the breaking down is done. Some of the intensity is removed, so that The Energy is suitable to be distributed throughout The Earth. The various Members of The Department share this responsibility. They work with this Energy distribution constantly and diligently, knowing that it is an important thrust, that it brings The Earth closer to The New Age and that it is one of the more important means of reaching The New Age."

"The Master R.'s ability to work with These Higher Energies (The Higher Rays) is very much appreciated. He does it because of a certain delicacy of approach which enables manipulation of areas which normally resist manipulation. I have watched Him on many occasions and marveled at his finesse and his ability in this area. It is interesting that the more finesse The Master R. uses in his manipulation of These Higher Energies, the more Energy is able to be channeled through and the greater the spiral forward made by The Earth. He is a focal, critical point now in bringing in The New Age, and most of his time now is spent working with These Higher Energies."

"Many people on The Earth are familiar with The Master Rakoczi, but only a few know Him as He really is. They understand only one aspect of Him, the Saint Germain phase. He is much bigger, much greater than has been revealed in the area of Saint Germain. His competence has earned Him the right to go wherever He wishes, to leave The Hierarchy of The Earth. His services would be very valuable in much more vast network Governments, but He has chosen to remain here, at least until after his major responsibilities of setting up This New Age, energy-wise, have been completed. He may reassess later as the offers continue to pour in."

"Many take the opportunity when it is offered by another Government, knowing They have earned it and that it will enhance their service to The Cosmic Plan. The Master R. has thus far turned down such offers. His love of The Earth, his dedication to Sanat Kumara, and his growth pattern have been holding Him here. He has worked in The Hierarchical Government for quite some time, although an aspect of Him worked on The Earth when He was already qualified to go into The Hierarchy. This was true because of his special vibrational pattern that enabled Sanat Kumara to work through an especially 'heavy' area for Himself through The Master R.'s help."

"Know that several Others of The Masters have done this when necessary, sent an aspect of Themselves to incarnate upon This Earth to flow a special stream of their energy directly to Sanat Kumara. From their experience directly to Sanat Kumara has gone a learning experience that enabled Him to grow extremely rapidly. This is rather a sacrificial act by each of These Great Beings, a willingness to serve upon The Earth, although They have earned the right to move on. These lives are usually painful, usually blocked, and always unrecognized by Humanity. This is because the completeness of Their Being is not there, only a certain aspect of Themselves, and the result is an imbalance. They are not recognized by Humanity as being very evolved, in fact quite the opposite. They seem quite immersed and unbalanced. Of course, The Great Beings like Lord Maitreya and The Buddha made a sacrifice also for Sanat Kumara, but They did it in a balanced state."

"At the present time, being trained to take over as many of the responsibilities as possible from The Master Rakoczi are 2 unknown Masters. By that I mean that Humanity doesn't know Them. They are a recent addition to The Hierarchy but have been specially trained for their jobs and are very proficient in them. They were rather late comers on This Earth but spiraled forward very rapidly. They are closely associated and have been so all through their evolutionary cycle. When They were still in Their Monadic State, They became acquainted with each Other and made a pact that They would remain together as much as possible, or at least attuned to each Other. Even between incarnations, They have worked together and have always been attuned. They are not Twin Souls. It is just an affinity They feel for each Other on such a deep and basic level that it has led Them even into the same Hierarchical work together."

The Higher Rays:

"In the early 1970's, The Creator granted The Earth the opportunity of working with 5 additional Rays, which make a total now of 12. The 5 Higher Rays are for a distinctly different purpose than The First 7. The earth's evolution had reached a point where it was felt that These Rays would be an opportunity to progress, would be an added emphasis on evolution. Man stands at a critical point. To enable Him to go beyond this point, to aid Him in his evolution, The Creator granted this special opportunity of working through or with These Higher Rays. He may utilize These to climb again the ladder of evolution back up to The Source. This is their purpose, and each of Them works in a unique and different way."

"The Higher Rays are aggregate parts of Energy. They are specific combinations of Energies, of Rays, plus one important ingredient, Undifferentiated Energy. You could say that Wholeness is mixed in with The Rays, and They become luminous from It. This Creator Light raises up specific combinations of The 7 Rays, and that's what The Higher Rays are, specific combinations of Energies plus The White Light of Wholeness. That's the ingredient that makes the difference. So then, They become a series of Rays to aid evolution on The Planet, and each One has a specific purpose, used progressively until we get to The Twelfth One."

The Eighth Ray:

"The Eighth Ray is a Cleansing Ray. When each soul reaches a critical point in its evolution, it may consciously call upon This Eighth Ray and utilize the cleansing properties of It to aid it. This Eighth Ray is very special. It is a gift of The Creator to enable each of us to leave the problems, the conflicts, the things of Earth that have been holding us fast. You must, of course, strive to free yourself, but These Higher Rays can aid you in this process."

"All of These Rays have a luminosity about Them that is beautiful. The color of This Ray is a very special blend of green and violet that is luminous. It is entirely different from the colors of the rainbow. Call upon This Eighth Ray to help you with the cleansing of the lower bodies by visualizing this beautiful, green-violet luminosity. See It filling your mind's eye. Feel this color as intensely as possible. Feel It begin its cleansing work. Utilize It by visualizing the color working within every cell of your body. Seeing the color, call upon It and call upon The Creator, 'I am ready. I am seeking my own perfection. I am seeking The God Part of me. Aid me; direct me; assist me'!"

"The Eighth Ray is composed of 3 kinds of Energy, The Fourth Ray (Harmony Through Conflict), The Seventh Ray (Transmutation), and The Fifth Ray (Analytical Mind). The Fifth Ray is able to penetrate to great depth and can cleanse and transmute all of the self, but it is usually the emotional body that needs it the most, hence The Fourth Ray, Which is connected with the emotional body. This Ray (The Eighth) is a major factor in the cleansing process here on The Earth. So, It has these 3 kinds of Energies plus a liberal sprinkling of The Source Light of Wholeness, and It proceeds from The Seventh Ray and The Seventh Ray Department."

"The Seventh Ray Energy here, The Transmuting Violet Flame, begins to transmute you to a higher level, to the beginning of The Ninth Ray, The Body of Light. But first you must cleanse self by means of this beautiful Eighth Ray. It cleanses and It helps you go beyond what has been experienced through the eons on The Earth. You can use It to get rid of the pain. And as the cleansing continues, you raise the vibration to a more perceptive level in which you can see more clearly. The Energy then helps to establish a new base. All of the energy that was tied up in the misconceptions that you've had within self is utilized by self to rise up to a clearer level."

"During the cleansing with This Eighth Ray, the personality may begin to 'dig in its heels' a little. It says, 'Now wait a minute; it's happening so fast'. And the very nature of change is resisted in the physical body. So just know it; just allow it; and don't worry about it because you can transcend it. The emotional body, in particular, will respond most readily by using The Eighth Ray. Consciously bringing in This Ray and specifically using It now can be very beneficial."

"This Ray can be used to stimulate the opening of The Third Eye (The Ajna Chakra). But do it carefully. Do not cleanse and open it too suddenly. Visualize coming into self The Eighth Ray aimed at The Third Eye Area. And as It comes in, see an opening which should be like a tunnel. See a light at the end of that tunnel, and then allow self to see beyond that light. This should stimulate the more perceptive inner vision."

"Wherever you are focused, The Eighth Ray will help your evolution. All of The Higher Rays do that in a progressive way of aiding evolution at any point. The Fifth Ray, which is very penetrating, is a necessary ingredient to approach the specific areas that need to be cleansed, because It has great focusing qualities."

"This Ray can also be used to cleanse the subconscious mind by getting rid of little remnants that are still affecting you. The cleansing of the subconscious then allows the more perceptive level to move right in."

"The Eighth Ray originates where The Seventh Ray originates, in Texas. The Seventh Ray really leads into The Higher Rays. The Eighth Ray runs close to San Diego, touches Hawaii, then goes into Japan, then to the southern tip of Korea and into China. Some of the vibrational patterns of China are quite important for The New Age. Then It goes into India in The New Delhi Area, then across Russia. You'll note that the 3 great powers all have important crossings indicating that they will be very involved in bringing in The New Age. The Eighth Ray then goes up into Greenland, which will be a very important New Age Center, the climate being considerably different then. After crossing into the center of Greenland, It takes a rather abrupt turn down through the center of Greenland, then down through Quebec, the central part of Michigan, and into The Texas Area where It started."

"The Higher Rays spread more than the lower Ones. In fact, their influence will eventually cover The Earth. The effect of The Eighth Ray now will probably spread as far as Phoenix from Texas as It is activated more and more. The Eighth Ray effect is to help people purify themselves, their government, and their environment. It is working to clear up that area of Greenland that will be so important in The New Age, and also Hawaii. Maybe It will help Japan to go beyond their imitation of The Western World to more clarity about themselves and their being."

The Ninth Ray:

"The Ninth Ray is a beautiful, light greenish-blue, which is not quite aqua and is luminous. I like to call This Ray, JOY, or The Ray attracting the full potentialities. The Ninth Ray continues the cleansing process, and The Soul Level begins to approach. That Christed Part of self we call The Soul Level becomes a distinct possibility with This Ray. For those of you seeking The Soul Merge, The Third Initiation, the utilization of this beautiful Ninth Ray Energy will certainly aid the process."

"Also The Body of Light becomes a distinct possibility with This Ninth Ray, not realized completely, but a potential which you begin to see can be a part of you in physical existence. All of you utilize It on other levels, but you can also utilize It on The Physical Plane. The Body of Light has a luminous quality. By meditating on The Ninth Ray, you get in touch with It more and more. This Ray enables The Christed Part of the being to come in contact with the aspect that has been here on The Earth. It is a joining as never before possible. It makes possible the connection. It enables one to come more in tune with what is called The Body of Light, The Expression you will utilize in experiences after leaving The Earth Plane."

"Utilize This Ninth Ray Energy to tune into The Body of Light, to seek its association, to seek its joining. It (The 9th Ray) too is a luminous color, and your mind's eye may perceive It as a type of light blue-green that is luminous. Feel It enfolding you and holding you. Yearn for That Higher Self, That Part of you that is a Light Being. Aspire to It with every fiber of your being. Aspire to your Body of Light."

"The Ninth Ray composition is Second Ray and First Ray. (Love/Wisdom and Divine Will) The First Ray thrusts into the possibility of reaching This Christed Part of self, the possibility of making that first contact with The Body of Light. And it is because of the blending of These 2 Rays with The White Light of The Source that you can utilize It in this regard. The First Ray, when blended with The Second Ray and The Source Light, creates in physical existence the blue-green luminous color, but on The Spiritual Plane It would appear blue and white. The green that gives the appearance of aqua is a reflection because of the nature of physical existence, which is founded in The Fourth Ray, The Green Ray."

"This Ray is the initial expansion process which tunes you directly in to JOY. It is the means by which existence, as it expands, is then attuned to its possibilities. This then allows existence to attract the most positive qualities that are potentially there by the very nature of this type of Energy. This leads to clarity on The Earth Plane as probably never experienced before if one is really in touch with The Higher Part of self."

"A good way to meditate is to first use The Seventh Ray, The Transmuting Flame. Then use the deep cleansing of The Eighth Ray in whichever way you wish. Then use The Ninth Ray and use It with JOY. After that, call for The Body of Light and allow self to put It on. The Body of Light is a white that is transparent, that contains all of the luminous qualities and shades of the rainbow, every color imaginable, that sparkles magnetically, electrically alive! It is Life Force at a very high Level. When you meditate and wear your Body of Light, It connects you with The Universal Body of Light. One can then experience at a Level beyond which I can explain in words."

"The Ninth Ray begins in Australia and goes up to Borneo. Borneo is important as far as the roots of Man go, and The New Age goes back to the roots. The Ninth Ray's significance for The Planet is the beginning of the transition toward The New Age. We think, esoterically, of India being important for our roots or beginning, but that is only since the coming of Sanat Kumara. The Earth Itself and its evolving Consciousness has its roots in Borneo. The civilization now still reflects its ancient beginnings."

"The Ninth Ray then goes through The Philippines and back to Japan, then on through The Aleutians, and back to Vancouver, and through Canada but very close to The United States, so some of It will spread there. Then It goes through Quebec and on to Greenland. The U.S. is surrounded by 2 of The Higher Rays that are the most active now, and that is one reason there is quite a bit of New Age activity going on here now. Wherever The Ninth Ray is focused, It has the effect of inspiring people to try and 'get it all together', to get focused."

"The Ninth Ray then goes to Iceland along with The Fourth Ray. There are some very advanced souls there, not a lot, but certainly some. A country becomes lighter when it has advanced souls. When We in The Hierarchy look down at a country, We see The Light generated by those advanced souls, and the country is illuminated by It. From Iceland, The Ninth Ray goes on to Ireland, which has The Fifth and Seventh and Ninth Rays coming in. The Seventh Ray turns abruptly there which always produces crisis points, and The Third Ray reflects some of this churned up quality of disaster back into it. The Ninth Ray then goes through a little bit of France, Germany, Austria, Hungary, and Romania, and then into The Middle East. Then It goes through Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, and down through The Bay of Bengal, and back to Borneo and Australia."

The Tenth Ray:

"The Tenth Ray is a pearl-colored luminosity. This Ray continues the evolutionary progress and brings The Body of Light closer to The Physical Plane. It can actually code The Body of Light into the physical structure. The Tenth Ray, then, is the means by which your pattern of Divinity is actually coded into the physical, and This we can refer to as The Body of Light."

"This Ray contains The First, Second, and Third Rays (Divine Will, Love/Wisdom, and Concrete Pragmatism) mixed with The White Light of Source that raises It up and gives It the luminous quality. The Third Ray portion is important because It has great holding powers, and you want to code This Divinity into self and hold It there. So, you can add what you've had already with The Ninth Ray and then hold it by means of this beautiful Tenth Ray."

"The Tenth Ray can enable you to lock-in those changes that you're seeking to make whatever they are. You are all undergoing this process now on The Earth. The Tenth Ray is here in quite large quantities, and only those who recognize its presence by their evolutionary status are getting in touch with It and are affected by It. Others don't even know that It is here. For those who are rather sensitive to It and are experiencing adverse effects, I would suggest using The Eighth and Ninth Rays more to help you handle this higher vibration. The intensity of The Tenth Ray can be a little disquieting if you haven't had enough of These 2 Rays. Also don't forget to transmute the self with The Seventh Ray Violet Flame prior to using The Higher Rays. If the work is done progressively through The Rays, the physical body will recognize and tolerate what is coming in, otherwise sleeplessness, anxiety, and other effects may occur."

"Each of The Higher Rays has a specific purpose, and The Tenth Ray allows you to utilize some of the greater potentialities of self. You get in touch with these potentialities by way of The Ninth Ray, and then they can be actually utilized on The Tenth Ray. Those same potentials that are present upon The Spiritual Plane at The Level of The Christed, Divine Self and used by The Divine Self can be utilized on The Physical Plane through The Tenth Ray."

"The Tenth Ray allows The Body of Light to anchor strongly and completely within the physical body. Because The Tenth Ray is coming in now to The Earth strongly enough, those of you who are ready can pull in your Body of Light right now. The electrical quality of This Ray is very evident now. Electrical storms are a special connection to This High Ray. The Earth is also receiving the possibility of its Body of Light. Whatever you do for yourself now, in your evolution, directly reflects into the evolution of The Planet. Avail yourself of This Tenth Ray and bring forth the evolution of The Earth. If you are afraid of electrical storms, it means that deeply within self you haven't yet connected with the electrical quality of This Ray. And, to Me, thunder is an exclamation point."

"The increasing of The Tenth Ray's intensity is rather a constant process, with a pause here and there, allowing Humanity to adjust. We've equated it to going up a stairs to a landing and then another stairs and another landing. When one is fully 'Realized', The Tenth Ray will allow the 'oneness' of self to be experienced, the complete balance of the male and female aspects of self. That is part of its goal, part of its specific vibratory quality."

"The real opportunity of This Tenth Ray is to realize The Body of Light while in a physical structure. The Body of Light is an area of vibration that is usually not 'accepted' on The Earth. You will have to raise your vibration so that It can become a part of physical existence. This Body of Light has never been present physically on Earth yet. It is meant to come completely into physical existence. After The Soul Merge (The Third Initiation), which in a sense re-codes the cells, This Body of Light becomes the model for physical cells as never before possible in physical existence. The energy level of The Body of Light doesn't really stop at Soul Level but can be equated to some of The Monadic Levels (The Level of The Higher Self of The Higher Self). The Body of Light is the doorway to what all of you are seeking. You can begin to experience It before The Soul Merge, but you will not completely lock It in place until after that time."

"Use The Tenth Ray by visualizing It as a pearl-colored luminosity. See It surrounding your body and holding it. Also see a scene, as far as you can see, of the pearl-like luminous color. See it with as great an intensity as possible. If you are unable to see the color, then feel it or know it is there, and this will aid you. Feel The Tenth Ray in the color surrounding you and holding you, pemeating every cell of your being. And cry out to your Higher Self, to your aspirations, 'Aid me. Help me to utilize This Tenth Ray to become greater, to attune my physical being to The Higher Divine Pattern. Anchor It now within my body'. Do this with great yearning, with great intensity, my friends, and It will aid you."

"The Tenth Ray originates in Greenland in a potentially powerful area. It goes from there directly south along the coast of The United States right through The Bermuda Triangle where It does not spiral. It is hoped that that will help The Energies there. Then It goes down off the coast of Venezuela and gives that area a chance to become a little less susceptible to the fighting occurring through Central America. Then The Tenth Ray goes across the vast expanse of The Pacific including The Hawaiian Islands, and back to Borneo. As The Tenth Ray penetrates The Earth, It is going to lift It up a whole new level. And it may be that where This Ray goes in The Pacific, there will be more land than water in The New Age (as portions of The Motherland of Mu rise). Then from Borneo, It goes back to India. Then It goes across Afghanistan and Europe and will actually affect the whole Middle East Area, then Scandinavia which has an interesting role to play in The New Age. They have a lot of New Age concepts, and they are enclosed by The Eighth and Tenth Rays. Then It goes back to Greenland."

The Eleventh Ray:

"Because The Tenth Ray has paved a way for It, We call the Eleventh Ray a Bridge to The New Age. The Eleventh Ray Energies are The Ones that will lead you toward The New Age. They will enable you a quantum leap with The Earth. They will enable The Earth and Man to go forward to the new experience. They are really The Bridge that extends from This Age to The New Age."

"The Eleventh Ray is, in a very special sense, the next level. By the time you are able to really connect with this type of Energy and utilize It in your life, there will be no question about being of service and about the stimulation of the way to aid evolution here on The Earth."

"The color of This Ray is an orangish-pink with luminosity. This color seems important to Me and gets you in touch with Divine Love expanded by Divine Wisdom. The Eleventh Ray color combination contains The Source Light that we equate to Love, also The Second Ray, Fifth Ray, and some First Ray (Love/Wisdom, Analytical Mind, and Divine Will). It is very special, because It is a Bridge to a whole New Era in human living here on Earth. The First Ray makes It very penetrating. It is softened by The Second and is again made more penetrating by The Fifth. We could say that It is the 'remnant remover'. As the new opportunity comes closer and is approaching That Final Cleansing, the final removal of all the remnants of what has been will be cleared out by This Ray."

"The Eleventh Ray has 3 different kinds of Energy: The First Ray which is the will, The Second Ray which is love and wisdom, and The Fifth Ray which is more mental but is very direct and penetrating. If This Ray is not balanced by Humanity in their utilization of It, The First Ray destructive mode could be 'interesting'. In clearing out the remnants, there might be war and catastrophe. It can be used that way, but It doesn't have to be. If you balance It with the penetrating quality that sees beyond the necessity for destruction, and then you add some Divine Love to It, then It can be used without the destructive connotation. There does not have to be destruction if The Energy is utilized in the highest or the most appropriate manner. The opportunity will be there to utilize The Energy as Humanity chooses. It is a penetrating Ray That clears out the remnants."

"This Ray has one of the most penetrating and balanced types of Energy that exists, because of the combination of The First and The Fifth and The Second Rays. This Ray gives you the opportunity to clean up anything that was missed by The Eighth Ray and also the opportunity to balance self so that you will be very stable when the next Ray comes in. That One, The Twelfth Ray, is meant to be a new beginning, a foundation. The Eleventh is bringing you to that point of stability, of balancing, of bridging from this level that Humanity is on now to The Next Level. It is a specific for the bridging process."

"In regard to The Eleventh Ray gathering up remnants, part of the usage of The First Ray Aspect in this could be involved with fire in the clearing away and the tearing down of the old through war, aggression, and conflict. But allow the clearing process to go forward. To Me, flames and the clearing process are connected, in a special sense, with The First Ray. And it is not always negative. It is sometimes necessary to clear out the old to allow a new beginning. For some, the letting go of what has been will get to be very hard, because they are really looking at letting go of everything, an entire period of evolution."

"Visualize This Eleventh Ray as an orange-pink luminosity. Then visualize this current Age (Pisces) and visualize The Next Age (Aquarius) with This Eleventh Ray Energy as a bridge of luminous pink-orange extending between the 2. See yourself, then, walking on This Energy and using It as a bridge to get you from one Age to the other. It is geared for this. It leads the evolving soul, as it aspires, to move forward from one Age to another. You might begin the visualization by surrounding yourself with this color, feeling It permeating every fiber of your being, and then see It as a bridge and see yourself crossing over on this beautiful Energy, utilizing It to go forward, to spiral forward with The Earth."

"On the map of global Energy distribution, The Eleventh Ray looks like It doesn't have much to do with The Earth right now, and It doesn't. It starts north of Hawaii, but The Islands feel The Ray, then It goes through Canada, and up through Greenland, and south through Russia, then south to India near Sri Lanka, and circles Australia partially, and then straight north to its origination point. A lot of its application is north and south. After The New Age, The Rays will be more north and south than east and west. After the start of The New Age, The First 7 Rays will change location but The Higher Rays will remain in the same locations as shown, except for The Eleventh and Twelfth Rays. The paths given are the paths that look the most probable, but remember that we make The New Age ourselves."

The Twelfth Ray:

"The Twelfth Ray Energy, the highest One, is a very luminous gold. It is the beautiful color and the beautiful Energy That will be used in The New Age. This is the color of The Higher Beings Who are coming here to be our Leaders during this period of The New Age. These are Ones Who have evolved so very far ahead of us, and when They are among us, this beautiful golden luminous color will be utilized and will be apparent everywhere."

"For The Earth, The Twelfth Ray is a combination of all potentialities. It has a little of everything, including The Higher Rays. It is a specific combination of all the kinds of Energies or Rays That have been available here on The Earth, all of Them from One through Eleven. The proportions are not equal however. For instance, there is not as much First Ray (Divine Will) as there is Second (Love/Wisdom). That wouldn't be appropriate. And there is very little of The Sixth Ray (Devotion)."

"The Twelfth Ray is The Golden Ray, The New Age. This is The New Level for Humanity, and it means that Humanity will be in touch with The Christ Consciousness. The Earth will also be in touch with This Level. The Golden Ray invokes both The Christ Consciousness and The Source Light, which, to Me, are a little different. They are not quite the same. But The Twelfth Ray invokes The White Light, and that allows more direct, conscious interaction with The Source Level Itself."

After The New Age begins, when this is The Level that Humanity has reached, It will understand as never before its own part in The Cosmos. The Earth Itself will understand its part in The Cosmos."

"The Twelfth Ray has nothing to do with the present civilization. It starts in The Arctic Ocean, goes east to Greenland, then directly south touching the tip of South America. That will be quite an influence. It will raise The Sixth Energy (Devotion) there. They have a potential to double their spiritual level. Then It surrounds part of the world and goes through Asia, and Russia, and back to its origin. Siberia has a different vibrational energy. It is really separate and not a part of anything that is going on around it."

Sanat Kumara:

"Sanat Kumara came to Earth out of love for Her and for her need about 18 million years ago. He and 3 other Glorious Ones (The 3 Exoteric Kumaras) came to anchor The Light upon The Earth. Before this time, It was a small, dark Planet, very immersed in the heavy energies here, and there was no possibility of loosening this or raising her energies. He came with His Love, and it was a sacrificial act of such magnitude that We have no conception of it. This wonderful 'Heavenly Man' then came to aid The Earth."

"His Superior, if you will, The One that He receives The Creator's Energies (The Twelve Rays) from, is The Solar Logos Whose Energies are so magnificent that at our point in evolution We can scarcely understand or conceive of what He is. Of course, there are many steps above this before you get to The Source. So, there is a ladder effect that leads to The Source and steps down Energies until They reach us here upon The Earth."

"Sanat Kumara and His 3 Kumaras, The 3 Buddhas (of Activity), reside in Shamballa, Which is not upon The Physical Plane. His work is directed from there. Shamballa is The Seat of The Planetary Government. The Hierarchy report to Sanat Kumara, Some of Them indirectly through The 3 Buddhas, but Some do report directly. It depends upon Their Position and what is going on at the time. Shamballa is where Council Meetings are held, which include all Members of The Spiritual Hierarchy after They have passed, if you will, The Fifth Initiation (The Ascension). They are, then, considered a Master of Wisdom and entitled to attend these Council Meetings."

"Shamballa is both a location and a State of Consciousness. When a Council Meeting is occurring, We simply attune Our Consciousness to It and thus take part, but sometimes, when it is appropriate, We go in our aetheric bodies. It is appropriate at times but not at others. When an important Council Meeting is taking place at Shamballa, We all know it, and We go one way or another. If business or focused attention upon work prevents the physical presence, then attunement is the most rapid and efficient manner in which to attend. Because of evolution, We are able to hold Our Consciousness in several places at once. It is quite easily learned."

"Sanat Kumara is The Creator's Representative here. That is his job, and it encompasses a great many things. It is his responsibility, by His Love, to utilize The Energies That are given to Him in as positive and productive a way as possible to aid the growth of The Earth. His aura is so large that The Earth and everything on It is contained within it."

"To generalize, at the average level of The Members of The Hierarchy, We can hold our focus, perhaps, in 5 areas at one time. But Sanat Kumara can hold his in a 1,000 places at once, attuning to whatever is necessary upon The Earth and within The Spiritual Government and maintaining contact everywhere at once. The figure, a 1,000, is a little misleading, because it is much greater than that. His Consciousness, in one of these 1,000 projectiles, can encompass an entire state, for instance, and know exactly what is going on at any particular time or place. That is the magnificence that We have at The Head of our Evolutionary Government, our evolutionary thrust really. We have, in charge, One Who knows exactly what He is doing. In 'heavenly' terms, He is young, but in terms of what The Earth needs, He is very old in experience. He is very wise and very able to aid The Earth now as It spirals forward into greater experience and greater responsibility."

"Sanat Kumara, then, holds the key to The Earth's Evolution. He turns the key in the lock that opens the evolutionary possibilities upon The Earth. He constantly looks for these possibilities, scanning, with his great abilities, the needs and the possibilities here upon The Earth. He then passes down directives to Those of Us Who work here on the specific needs and specific possibilities that are present. We, as His Representatives, carry out these directives, passing them down even more to those who serve here upon The Earth, to you who choose to participate in The Cosmic Plan to help obtain the fastest possible growth for yourself, for others, and for The Earth."

"Sanat Kumara is 'The Mastermind' of evolution upon The Earth. He holds a special Energy Field that enables Him to do with Energy what is necessary before It is stepped down by Him to Those within The Hierarchy for their use, because He can utilize such an intense Energy Pattern. He can use this very intenseness to change It, so that It can be tolerated by others who cannot stand such intenseness."

"The Council Meetings in Shamballa are held at regular intervals and also upon special need as called by Sanat Kumara or One of the other Kumaras, because They too are involved in the directives given to The Hierarchy. The 3 Kumaras (The Exoteric Kumaras) have a very special job to do here upon The Earth. They, as a part of the focus of The Energies from Sanat Kumara, maintain These Energies in a triangular configuration, and then They are utilized by whomever is attuned to That Level of Energy. Their special work, then, is with The Energy in a different way from Sanat Kumara but in an almost equally important sense. They do many other things, but this is one of the main responsibilities that They have."

"As an aside, one of The Kumaras or Buddhas (Sanaka Kumara) recently moved on in his evolutionary spiral, going higher, and so there is a new Kumara working in this triangular configuration (The previous Manu from The First Ray Department). That is part of the changes we are feeling here upon The Earth. Whenever energies are embodied or even ensouled by different Energy Patterns, by a different specific Individual, they become different. The triangular energy configuration of the original 3 Kumaras was one pattern, but when a new Kumara was added, it became a different type of energy, a different configuration. This is with purpose, and we are seeing the results here upon The Earth because of the difference in this energy triangulation. In The New Age, the triangulation will be even more different with the other 2 Kumaras or Buddhas continuing on their evolutionary path, and thus The New Age will be different than It would have been without this change, my friends."

"Sanat Kumara monitors The Earth. He watches those that have begun their rapid spiritual growth, and He notes each one as he becomes greater with love and with joy. He follows their progress. And He notes the areas in which they are the most 'immersed' and tries to aid them if it is deemed an appropriate action at the time. Aiding them is not always appropriate. Simply watching them or providing a stimulus to aid them in getting through the traumatic period may be the most appropriate. Or eliminating a specific trauma in an area that is not necessary may be the best solution and will be done when the karmic situation so indicates and when the evolved human requests it sufficiently enough to warrant it."

"Sanat Kumara, then, delves within life in great depth upon The Planet Earth. The Earth is part of His Consciousness, and He knows It very well. He knows each of us and our needs and our possibilities. When He sees an area within you that needs attention, He focuses more of His Consciousness there and explores it in depth. Occasionally, you may have felt this probe as an intense surge of energy, as an intense feeling of love, or being affected in every pore by love and energy. Not always will this be the case, but this may have been a probe by Sanat Kumara as He considers you and your evolutionary state."

"Sanat Kumara is sometimes called The One Initiator, and this is because it is his decision when each of us is ready to progress, in a very special way, from one level to another. When we are, He initiates the transaction, the transition period, if you will, and that is what is called 'Initiation'. He is The One Who does it at The Major Levels. Before that time, it is done more informally (The First 2 Initiations). These are equally as important, of course, to those who are undergoing Them, but from the viewpoint of The Hierarchy and Sanat Kumara, only The Major Initiations (beginning with The Third, The Soul Merge) in which Sanat Kumara is The Initiator (The Hierophant) are of major significance in the life. This is because each of us is only a small aspect of the life of The Earth. By thrusting forward ourselves, we aid The Earth and aid her evolution. But it is the totality of evolution upon The Earth that concerns Sanat Kumara, not that of one individual."

"Sanat Kumara is concerned with things in totality, never things on an individualistic basis. The Hierarchy, too, works with large groups, but Sanat Kumara works with the totality of the earth experience, always weighing everything and balancing it out before making decisions. In his wisdom, of course, He recognizes individuals and individual needs, however these are always weighed against the needs of the entire Planet to see what is deemed most appropriate for action. Occasionally, We may not understand his approach, but He, in his wisdom, sees things that We do not."

"He is involved very, very strenuously now in a step forward in evolution for The Earth, because his own evolution is what causes the whole process to begin to thrust forward. He is a 'Heavenly Man' and is getting ready for a very major step now. It is his progress that reflects back and becomes our progress, that of The Earth in its totality and each individual upon It. Know also that when you take a step forward, it aids Sanat Kumara, just as He aids you. It is a 2-way street. Thus is progress made in The Creator's Plan for life upon The Earth."

"All of evolution upon The Planet here is a reflection of the evolution of Sanat Kumara. He brings it all about in a conceptual way as an outline. If He can't perceive it and conceptualize it, it is not available to The Earth. So, He initiates all of it. None of Us within The Hierarchy knows exactly what Sanat Kumara does, because his evolvement is so much greater than our own. We know generally what He does but not specifically."

"What Sanat Kumara does, in general, is to allow Divinity to evolve and experience on The Earth. This is accomplished through his dedication, through His Love, through his wisdom, through his understanding, and through his perception. He stands as an Example of Divinity for The Planet. He brings Divinity forth from The Source in a stepped down progressive manner from Those Who also stand as a Focus of Divinity at Higher Levels (The Solar Hierarchy). They have their particular Focus, and He has his, which thence comes forth to The Earth. His Focus is first reflected to Shamballa, The Spiritual Government, then It is reflected from There to the level of Humanity and to all other levels of evolvement, The Animal Kingdom, The Plant Kingdom, The Mineral Kingdom, and The Deva Kingdom. All of these consciousnesses are seeking to understand Divinity in a more enlarged sense through Sanat Kumara's understanding."

The Spiritual Hierarchy:

"The Spiritual Hierarchy is The Spiritual Government, Which is not a physical One, of course. It is an Organization That seeks to aid evolution on The Earth. It is One which watches all of the activity on The Planet and then, in a large application, seeks to make a difference here and there. We are a Group of Beings That usually do not function in the physical but can if We so desire, and sometimes We do. We work with Energy, Which is Life Force, and do many things. We are divided into different Departments, all of Which aid the evolution of The Planet. We have committees, meetings, and training programs, in earthly terms."

"A new Member of The Hierarchy may become familiarized with The Hierarchy by experiencing all of The Departments in somewhat of a tour. He may study with a specific Master from each Department to learn exactly what takes place in It and to understand how It fits into the whole governmental pattern. We are not truly Masters. We are only, perhaps, more aware of The Earth and its laws than you are. We just seek to learn on a different level than Humanity. A new Member may become focused into a specific place and be given material that will allow Them to glimpse ahead to see the evolutionary plans that are possible here on The Earth, plans that are being attempted to be brought forth as We all participate in The Cosmic Plan for The Planet."

"A new Member entering The Hierarchy will experience each Department to understand their work. And Each will receive the type of training that They feel They need and that suggested by Their Teachers. As a Member of The Hierarchy, One still seeks to grow, to evolve, and to balance. Therefore, those areas within self that need further developement are still worked upon. But while that is being done, One is serving the world, The Planet."

"Sanat Kumara and all of The Teachers Who have dedicated Themselves to The Cosmic Plan have truly seen the best way to do It, and They are doing it well. We, in The Hierarchy, also have an evolution, but it is no longer human. You, as Humanity, have one; The Hierarchy has one; and the other levels of existence have one, all of them in relationship to The Earth."

"Communication is very important in The Hierarchy, so We have a regular schedule of meetings. Sanat Kumara has Council Meetings in Shamballa which a certain Level within The Hierarchy attends. These Meetings involve policies. For example, how We are going to handle a specific situation that, through free will, The Earth has chosen to go through."

"When We want to do something, We get together in consciousness to see exactly how to solve a specific problem, event, or situation. We do this often. There will be a committee formed to handle the situation following The Council's suggestions. The Lord of The World oversees all of this. Sanat Kumara, along with Lord Maitreya and The 3 Kumaras, supervise the activities within The Hierarchy."

"When We are looking for guidance in a specific area, We must know Who is the expert in The Hierarchy to be consulted. Perhaps a certain Archangel will be consulted, for They too also serve within The Hierarchical Government. Perhaps there is a need to call on Michael, The Great One Who defends the just. If so, maybe We will get Him to a Council Meeting to discuss the event and why We needed to consult Him."

"At present, due to the critical point at which The Earth is at in evolution, We have many Reinforcements within The Hierarchy Who have come in their desire to serve during The Changes leading to The New Age. We sent out a call, and They have come. Sometimes They come before Council Meetings to give reports on what They are doing in their specific assignments. They also serve on committees. They reinforce Our Personnel at this very critical and busy time. They are Beings Who have not evolved from The Earth but elsewhere, and They are wonderful and very evolved. We are very grateful for their help, and We learn a great deal from Them."

"We are very dedicated to our assigned duties. We don't have 'People' Who do not want to serve. They are there because They have chosen to be. One problem that We do have is that We lose Members. They grow so much that They grow beyond Us. Then They move on to another experience, and We must train Someone to replace Them. It makes Us very busy, and We learn a great deal by filling in for The One Who has been promoted. It is a good learning experience for all of Us."

"There is one Member of The Hierarchy Who has served with Us for a long time, and I feel that He will probably take another assignment before too long, although He will be with Us during this critical period. He is The One Who heads The Seventh Department, The Master Rakoczi. A more familiar name would be Saint Germain, however I prefer The Master R. Both names denote the same Consciousness however. He is very experienced and could fill in for any of Us in any Department. Other Spiritual Governments have offered Him Positions many, many times. I feel that one of these times, Master R. will accept an offer. He then will not be available for the counseling work that He does so well. But in the meantime, He is very busy within The Seventh Department that is spearheading The Government, in a sense, as we approach The New Age. The Master R. is almost like an Elder Brother to Us. If there exists an area that We do not understand, He is available for consultation. He can usually figure it out. He has a preciseness in his understanding that helps Him to see how to do something very, very well."

"The Lord Maitreya, The One That you have known as The Christ, is very important to The Spiritual Government. He came to aid The Earth as The Christ (also known as The Boddhisattva, The Imam Mahdi, and The Messiah) and is very much involved with Humanity at this time. He brought Love to The Earth, anchoring the quality of Unconditional Love 2,000 years ago (by overlighting The Master Jesus for the 3 years of His Ministry), but his job within The Hierarchy is of a much greater scope beyond that perceived by Humanity. He is truly working to aid evolution. He also calls meetings which We, especially in The Second Department, attend. The Lord Maitreya (The Master of The Masters), under the direction of Sanat Kumara, spearheads the evolution for Humanity."

"The Spiritual Government works with evolution in a very broad manner. As mentioned, We work with Energies, specifically with The Life Force. There are Those within The Hierarchy Who are able to direct energy to a specific location in a specific pattern. This is done to make a certain pattern of energy available to aid evolution. There are also Those Members of The Hierarchy That pick up what you might call 'the slack'. Their job is to recognize what Others have missed. We certainly do learn a great deal."

"Evolution on The Earth must be very balanced. If a certain aspect breaks through to a new level, then We seek to rebalance the other levels so that Divinity is accomplished in a balanced way."
